    MP asks for CCFC intervention

It is something that was put to me way back when we were off to Northampton, Nene Park was vacant, Rushden & Diamonds were finished, the town had known professional and FL football so there was a fan base to tempt. It stood to reason.

Rushden is too far. I believe that Nene Park was Tim Fishers original long term plan, move to Northampton for a couple of seasons then to Rushden and develop his version of a professional club there but it was jettisoned by the FL on franchise grounds. He would deny that but that's what I believe.

The choice is not to award the Golden Share don't rule that out. As for Brighton they gave proposals re new ground and delivered. Fisher hasn't, won't even disclose any of these sites he says he has on the radar.

Yes he was just a kid but was purchased by JH not developed. He came with someone else a centre forward Trevor can't remember his surname. Jimmy Hill plucked some real diamonds out of non league Carr, Ernie Machin, John Tudor, Dave Clements from Wolves reserves

I think sisu operate nopm regarding Mowbray's budget.

    Who???

Jordan Willis, very underrated in my opinion by the "experts" on here. If he stays injury free I reckon he could contribute to the sisu piggy bank.

Has to be within 30 miles or is it 35. Also we were given time for Fishers ground proposal to emerge. There are rules re this and members and would be members can object if they are not adhered too. Also to throw a spanner in the works there are plans to increase the FL to more clubs a 100 I...

Willie Carr didn't come through our youth team he was bought for buttons as a 16/17 year old from Cambridge City by Jimmy Hill but by the time he made his debut Noel Cantwell was manager

    MP asks for CCFC intervention

I really don't see a ground share anywhere, so where does that potentially lead us ? This needs to be brought to the fore and soon, perhaps that's what Jim Cunningham is doing

    Twitter rumour

Maddison's okay, fans forget he was injured most of last season, thrust back into the first team a little too early in my opinion, sold and brought back and into a team struggling for results. I'd have any player better than we have and he is, just paper talk though imo

    Smith/McBean

Not saying Smith was the answer but we do need a right back don't care what the manager says

Thought they did, I also think sharing with Northampton again is out of the question while they are in the same division, this ground situation is a real problem issue for sisu, Wasps drop the legals or we don't talk has put a cat amongst the pigeons I reckon.

    MP asks for CCFC intervention

Raising our potential ground plight at Government level can influence how sisu approach this issue. Remember the Northampton debacle, Joy Seppalla only got involved when it was raised and discussed in the House of Commons by a Tory MP initially. As for not dealing with a Labour council decisions...

    4 in ?

I'm on the fence re Tony Mowbray, whilst I agree he is dealt a difficult hand I still have concern regards our constant poor showing after the half-time team talk. Was much the same most of the second half of last season.

    Smith/McBean

Oh so we replaced Aarron Phillips with...emm ?? Maybe there's a kid in the wings but I ain't clocked him yet.

I reckon the Ricoh situation is starting to simmer, I also think the Football League will want answers and assurances long before those 2 years are up.

    Smith/McBean

That just illustrates the state we are in Mowbray's comment about Smith tells me he would of taken him but for money restraints, I would guess he wouldn't have cost a lot, we need a right back too

Match Thread Norwich v Coventry Match Thread - Tuesday 23rd Aug

Worst possible fixture and depending on todays result v Ipswich possibly at the wrong time, I expect a bollicking. One good thing I think this takes away Turnbulls one game suspension.
