    A call to Arms !!!

Beating Rochdale and Southend is great but standing toe to toe with the great sides in history like Leeds United, Liverpool and Manchester United as an equal was also fantastic and winning the FA Cup trumps a Checkatrade trophy. That said this is the here and now and without the play off win we...

    A call to Arms !!!

Principles? Go to games in Birmingham- part of the solution Don't go- part of the problem I am sure if you lived in Small Heath and supported Coventry City you wouldn't want to be watching us play at St Andrews over the Ricoh.

    A call to Arms !!!

I beg to differ but statistically you are correct. Bubble appearing over my head: what about 69-70? What about 87?

    Dion visits Coventry

Yes. It made no difference if he had joined any of the teams in the top flight. He was looking after his family and future. We basically pushed Dennis Mortimer to Villa Park against his wishes, bought Ray Graydon and had Steve Hunt so it was not as though trading between the clubs was unheard of.

    Serious question: why Villa though?

Dyson and Gillespie were a fine partnership

Thank you! Curtis had his top level career curtailed early on at Forest so wasn't" able prove himself in the top flight. Roy Barry was sublime until leg brake and my favorite, Holton was past his best but if you look at the stats he played more for us than any team he played for, was part of a...

It's about opinions but a championship Scott Dann and an under rated Peter Atherton? I would have put Andy Pearce and Atherton in my Peter Hindley and Alan Dugdale file. Dann? Decent but no Dublin in my estimation. Roy Barry prior to his leg break was the best for me on reflection but probably...

Kindly put a name forward who was better than Dion as a center back during his 4 years with us. I am struggling olderskyblue, I can make a case for Babb just before him and Trevor Peake earlier and Jeff Blockley but other than those who compares to Dion as a center back?

Lucky to have him during his peak years, true legend.

    Just suppose

Probably get a Leicester season ticket and enjoy the upgrade without the emotional investment. It's the hope(thanks Nick) that kills you.

Then let's hope Tony Cottee and Ian Wright never join us in any capacity....

There are some who will be furious that we are in the automatic spot and that despite everything we are trotting along nicely. It suits their hate agenda with anything to do with the club. I get the hatred for Sisu, I am in their camp historically on that score, but credit where it is due and...

    RB Coventry

Anything that protects the integrity of Coventry City and promotes progress then I would be positive of such a move, colors, even a tweak of the badge and a prefix of RB Coventry City would be acceptable to me, as it has been a moving feast in the past history of the club. Even better if we...

    Robins and the team

Robins will be remembered as an excellent manager should we gain promotion and should we be back in Coventry it would set a series of events would be necessary to keep the club up in the Championship. Football can be a cruel game, I would imagine that Liam Kelly would moved on after helping...

    Walsh, O Hare, Dabo

Go back a year, delete O"Hare and Walsh and we were having the same conversations about Thomas and Bright. I am sure the management have got a plan B and C on the drawing board however the season ends.

No it was Max. Nazon didn't come over to the fans. It was right in front of me.

    Super Max

Throwing my view in to the discussion late on. Max is a very likeable character and that goes a long way with goodwill. I find myself rooting for him and I can't explain where that comes from logically. I remember him coming over to the fans at Carlisle and getting abused nastily after a win...

    Professional Mr Robins

Whilst accepting all you are saying I suspect 3 defeats on the trot would lead to other opinions being shared.
