The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

If she is then she's committed to a 'Brexit' in name only. Her so-called 'deal' would tie the UK to Brussels indefinitely. She wants to able to say to the Brexiteers in her party "Look, I've taken us out" then say to the anti-Brexiteers "Look, I've taken us out but in name only". She wants to...

Germany’s hidden hunger: On the breadline in Europe’s richest country Around 1.5 million people are supported by affiliated Tafeln across the country, with countless more served by independent food banks. And according to a survey carried out by the federation in 2016, demand is growing. “The...

Looking at events across the channel they're probably hugely relieved they voted the way they did.

No, either because you got the result you wanted after a second referendum or simply ignored the result of the first.

Fair enough Otis but you did suggest a vote on the so-called 'deal' which many also consider to be a vote to remain.

It amounts to the same thing in my view. There was HUGE debate at the time over what the exact wording of the referendum question should be and *I think* even a court case? The final wording was eventually accepted by both sides. It was never going to be possible to please everyone.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You haven't accpted the result of the first vote so there's no reason to believe you would accept the result of a second vote. Or a third or a fourth and so on.

The referendum wasn't about any so-called 'deal', it was about whether Britain remains or leaves and leave won. It's nonsense to suggest that remainers will accept the result of any vote that goes against their wishes. They never have and they never will. The same is true of every government...

Please stop twisting my words. Neither my post nor the quote I was replying to mentioned any so-called 'deal'.

I didn't say they were capable of getting a so-called 'deal', I said they were perfectly capable of delivering Brexit. Stop twisting my words.

They're perfectly capable they just refuse to do it because they've been EU-stooges all along.

Provided they make the choice that you want otherwise you'll demand a rerun until you do get the result you want.

Then your side will ignore the result again and demand a third referendum, and so on. You'll keep demanding referendums until you get the result you want.
