What you dont seem to get is over 44 games our points would be 69 if you add the other 2 games pro rata our points tally would be 73 (post 68) and if the average of the last 10 seasons was maintained we would have been in the top 6 4 times only.

I dont get your point? I have projected the points to a 46 game season.Every 2 games 1 home 1 away there is always the possiblity of teams picking up 6 points.

If you care to check the last 10 seasons only 3 times has the last play off place been less than 73 in 3 others it has been 73 I am taking into account there are only 44 instead of 46 at our current rate we will be shy of 73 a target which even if we did reach our goal difference at present...
