It's neither what I said not what I was suggesting. I was actually refering to the referendum result which remainers claim was not a 'majority' of the electorate.
I'm not suggesting anything of the sort. I'm merely pointing out it has never been necessary to win a majority of the electorate in order to form a government.
The problem with that is those who can afford private treatment will stop caring if the NHS is properly funded or not the same way those who can afford private pensions no longer care if the state pension is enough to live on or not.
There's a bit of diference in context.

It won't make any difference though. May will ignore the results of the euro election the same way she ignored the result of the referendum.
