Part of me has been wondering if this is part of their plan to soften the blow/give more clout to gaining the financial support...... The other part of me is just hoping that they are a actually stone broke and there is nothing more than just that behind it all.

Yep! Exactly that. Boddy said if a new pitch is not laid, no football, or possibly any sport will be played any time soon. Current one is kaput. No real coming back for it. Will have big problems over winter if nothing done . Club have offered financial support to Wasps to lay a new pitch...

It is so fitting! But there seem to be so many Wasps fans that take everything that the club put out as fact/gospel! One comment that still sticks in my mind, think it was when they were shafting the Henley sports clubs, was "its not very wasps like"!.... so pf course, they couldn't be doing...

They have advertised hospitality at the CBS earlier today... I'd say that is fairly promising!
