    Chocolate Teapot?

You do get the feeling things are ramping up a bit, a couple of weeks ago there was a debate in Parliament on the state of our club attended by the Minister of Sport now we have the chairman of the committee for culture, media and sport offering to mediate, can either Wasps or sisu refuse if he...

Could put both on the spot but shouldn't rattle sisu too much after all they batter people in court.

    Jon Sharp - BPA

When we were at Highfield Road the home support was a 19000 maximum, away 4050. we rarely got that 19000 but more offen than not the away was full. The question for BPA how do you segregate numbers like that at the Butts

    Chocolate Teapot?

Wouldn't come to anything like that but if it went to a select committee questions have to be answered and it's in the public domain, no confidentiality agreements. Not sure if public can attend, when the big ones have been shown on TV such as Philip Greene or Mike Ashley recently I think I have...

    Chocolate Teapot?

I am certain his main aim is to break this pathetic impasse but will ask questions The main thing that interests me is will both parties accept or decline a meeting

In your opinion Monners and based on the evidence we know who has most to be afraid of Wasps or sisu ?

    Chocolate Teapot?

Not sure if it's about finding a winner or loser it's about breaking an impasse that's holding up crucial talks that could affect a long established football club it's very existence. I see it very difficult for Wasps especially but sisu also to decline. And if either party did could Colllins...

    Chocolate Teapot?

I see you have a point. Depends what hat he wears I suppose I would think he would lean the clubs way it is Wasps who won't talk or have put stipulations as to why they won't, the main thing is getting both parties off their arses and round a table.

    Chocolate Teapot?

You would think neither with his views in the past and his opinions on moving sports teams. I'm not sure of the odds on him having a selective memory though Selective memory ? I'm puzzled do explain.

    Chocolate Teapot?

It is like saying Wasps or SISU choosing their own mediator. So who would pick Collins Wasps who have ceased talks or sisu who tell us they want talks ?

    Chocolate Teapot?

What will be interesting is will Damien Collins be acceptable to all parties. Difficult to object or turn down such a meeting.

    Chocolate Teapot?

Oh the thought of our Tim Fisher publically in front of a Government select committee Philip Greene style is so exciting.

    Chocolate Teapot?

Quiet a lot really and football governance is his pet subject. The main reason for him being there is to try and help sort out this impasse between sisu and Wasps but lots of things are linked. What I'm not sure is who will be there Wasps obviously but who in the sisu chain Sepalla sisu head...

    Chocolate Teapot?

No he can't or sisu for that matter but he can put meat on the bones and get answers. Wasps, council, FL and sisu and individuals connected will hopefully be dragged off the fence. I am certain he won't just be sat down hosting a tea and biscuit party.

    Chocolate Teapot?

Damien Collins is ideal to mediate, he does have clout, is chairman of the Select Commitee for Culture Media and Sport which has the power to call in witnesses to give evidence in public. I would think it would be difficult for any of the parties connected to object to him or turn down any...

    Jon Sharp - BPA

Another thread on BPA. I will say although I live not too far from the Ricoh locationwise I'd love a home ground at the Butts which perhaps should have been seriously looked at years ago.Do people still think a major football stadium will get planning permission? and then get passed Westminster...

    Jon Sharp - BPA

There might be an answer to this BPA issue and the whole stadium debate sooner than we think. Damien Collins Conservative MP for Folkestone & Hythe so hardly a biased local has agreed to mediate with Wasps and sisu significant ? could be Damien Collins I believe is chairman of the Select...

The EFL & the warning to Charlton & CCFC

I suppose as it was the EFL cup the FL might impose penalties for fan misbehaviour or is that an FA issue ? nothing more than a fine and a warning though. I suppose the points deduction threat in the pig throwing issue is to stop continuation of disrupting games in that manner. It made its mark...

The EFL & the warning to Charlton & CCFC

In a word no, that is the property of the Premiership and FA not the EFL.
