Match Thread Queens Park Rangers - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 22nd Oct

Because Da Silva got turned too easily when not close to his man. Rather than try and recover and go with the player and try and close him down, he ran away from him into no man's land in the penalty area. This meant Binks got dragged out of middle to try and close down the man DaSilva let go...

Re their goal watch the replay watch what DaSilva does and doesn't do. He was all over the place. He was like that all night defending, he may as well not have been on the pitch as a defender.

Really? I think he is usually really weak in the tackle.

Da Silva is clueless and in recent games Van Ewijk isn't much better. Van Ewijk often recovers from poor defending by his pace. But he lapses too often. But Da Silva really is clueless as a defender and that is his main job. Sheaf looked a bit better tonight. At least we got an away point...

I can't remember the last time we won without 5 at the back?

Da Silva gets turned. Then rather than press the player with the ball runs away into no mans land in the penalty area. Gives him so much space to cross and score. They guy has not got a clue how to defend. He is not much better going forward, just relies on save option backwards passes.

Match Thread Preston vs. Coventry City - Match Thread - Sat 19th Oct

It's not been a great performance and we have rode our luck at times. But it has been better than some this season. Need to build on it in second half. Need to keep possession better and move the ball a bit quicker.

It wasn't a penalty just strong defending shielding the ball.

Poll: Robins In or Out? Part 2

Because we have not gained promotion yet. Viveash never gave us a good start and League form fell off a cliff last season? You may as well argue we should have stuck with the same squad and not bought anybody, which would be ludicrous 😂 Any business needs to change and evolve to progress...

Poll: Robins In or Out? Part 2

I wouldn't argue with that. But I still think the fans have skewed what was said into its happening this season. They have over valued where EMC, Torpe, Kitching and Rodriguez were going to be at and also where Sakamoto was going to be at I after his injury. The fans want the club to show...

Poll: Robins In or Out? Part 2

The biggest problem we have is the fans who inflated our expectation levels. No sorry their expectations levels. They need to remember that 5 year Premier League package was a goal, an ambition and not a promise. Also we are barely into it. We are misfiring but it is small margins. Not as...

Coventry City U21s v Birmingham City tonight

To me that says Birmingham were really poor as much as we were good. Perhaps everyone thinks playing that side against Preston is the way to go? Great result for the team but it is still just a development match.

Coventry City U21s v Birmingham City tonight

It's not about taking the passionate side away it's about channeling it in the right direction. Young players often bring energy and enthusiasm. Which fans buy into. What young players lack is decision making and game management. Fans will crucify any player off the back of poor results...

Obviously not performed though. May be a lot of reasons for that. They could be trying a new system for the first time

I never said he walked into the side. I said he can't just walk in to the side. You argue Robin's picked him then question why Robins has held him back? Do you trust Robins or not?
