    Signings Incoming......

You can’t give a contracted player a free transfer without paying up their contract or reaching an agreement with the player.

    Signings Incoming......

Why are you pretty sure that Kasteneer will leave? Not saying you are wrong, just interested in your thinking. There are many factors involved in a transfer but can’t see there would be a buyer for him at this time.

    Scariest time at a ground.

A decent centre forward who made his name at Forest when they finished 2nd in the league in 67 and got a couple of caps for England. Played for Derby at the end of his top flight career.

    Hamer vs Walsh

Doubting no but let’s be honest Millwall have been very poor. Where has Hamer been in the last month? Hiding in plain sight

Easy to say but it’s risk against reward.

    Danny Drinkwater

Delusion comes in many forms. Drinkwater was a very good player, far above our station and was highly thought of by many including the England coach and Ranieri. The 2016 version was at the top of his cycle, today he is seen as not worth the risk by Burnley, Villa and his own club Chelsea. To...

    Danny Drinkwater

Obviously taking someone with the track record of Drinkwater is a big risk, is it a Stephen Hunt or Dennis Wise you get? What is not in dispute is that a focused motivated Drinkwater of the Leicester vintage is far better than anything we have. I suspect he is not the player nor man he once was.

What do we need to progress?

At this moment there is an axis of where the pressure is coming from in my opinion. That is Sheaf, Hamer and O’Hare. The inability to pass and receive a pass becomes evident when Kelly plays. When he is absent nothing sticks. That theory excludes individual errors but is based on breaking down...

Happy new year sky blue army

Happy new year to my fellow Sky Blues the world over. Proud to be a Coventrian.

    Danny Drinkwater

Drinkwater is on over 100k per week and is nowhere near the Chelsea squad with a contract which ends in 18 months. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just runs down his contract or Chelsea pay him off. I can’t see Chelsea being too bothered about him as a player so who knows?

    Robings - how long left?

In the cold light of day I understand that Robins is under the microscope but I believe he is the right man with some of the wrong tools to do the job. It is just not the time for faint hearts or finger pointing in my opinion.

    Robings - how long left?

So two promotions, a cup and you still use that a stick to beat Robins with.

    Gustavo Hamer

It’s not a like for like comparison, Walsh was creative in league 1 but unproven in the Championship and by all accounts Sheaf was decent for Doncaster but the step up is proving tough for Sheaf and I don’t think Kelly’s injuries have helped him. Both goals last night just needed a boot out of...

We have done what we tend to do; be good on the ball until the final third and then it all breaks down. I am hoping that we have enough to grab a point but I have seen enough of Sheaf, the 15 million pound man Hamer and Cameo Giles to surmise that these guys will always flatter to deceive.

    George Hudson passed away

It may seem a strange move but Northampton were a year more advanced in their ascendancy than we were. Hill was proven right as Gould did well and we were promoted as the Cobblers went down, all the way down. Never has an away player been given the reception The HUD got on his return with...
