    Liam Kitching

It was good to see Kitching getting a runout but I wouldn't start him based on that cameo. The starting defenders got us a clean sheet, Kitching had nothing to do.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

He is a player out of form who has had limited game time to find it. He averaged one in four for WBA, so I would not right him off as a dud yet. Mason Clarke, Wright, Simms all took a while to get going, as did Gyokeres

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

RB cover Van Ewijk loan LB cover for Bidwell loan Central Defender with experience and a leader. CM of quality and experience and a leader. For the last two I would be happy waiting until the summer if it means landing the right people. For me Dovin and Wilson are fine in goal

Don't be daft, his attacking play is almost as bad as his defending

We need to put a run together now, so need a repeat of the performance levels and secure another home win. Same starting line up for me, injuries permitting.

Swap deals involving two players rarely happen because four parties have to agree to it.

Why so many empty seats ?

They are not allowed to, they have publish it based on tickets sold, applies to every club.

    Mason-Clark Appreciation Thread

Mason Clarke is starting to look good and yesterday's finish was his best yet. It was a great ball from Eccles as well, pass of the match.

Why so many empty seats ?

There where a lot of empty seats a few minutes before KO but not once the game started apart from upper tier of main stand but a lot stay inside in the corporate areas There were two free seats next to my wife, taken by season ticket holders and I have only known those seats occupied twice in...

If he had Visa problems he wouldn't even be at the club let alone playing for the u23's. Just accept he has had injury problems and it takes time to get fit and fully match fit. Hopefully he will now feature on the bench. But I suspect he will have an apprenticeship of being just on the...

Looking where the ref was he was behind Eccles so probably couldn't be sure whether contact was just on Eccles or ball and Eccles fell over the tackler. Refs have one angle and one take of a situation, it's why the Prem has VAR. Personally I would still prefer not to have VAR.

Well we were worse than Hull second half at Portsmouth so I'm not going to gloat on how poor other sides are.

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Thursday 26th Dec

It was a very good performance today and a great reaction to the diabolical second half performance at Portsmouth. Okay Plymouth are no great shakes, but you can only play what is on front of you. At times this season we have failed to put teams away even if they are very poor...so a step in...

    Defensive coach / Goalkeeping coach

Mistakes in midfield can expose the defence and leave them overloaded. Torp, Eccles, Sheaf and Rudoni have all made individual errors in games that have done just that. Yes defenders have made individual errors too. But it is too simplistic to look at the goals conceded and just heap it all...

    Defensive coach / Goalkeeping coach

First point Williams isn't responsible for who is signed and who he has to work with. Also coaches have more outfield players to work with so have a great chance of success because of the numbers. Also I think the standard of goalkeeping isn't what it was across the board in this country. But...

    Defensive coach / Goalkeeping coach

Well Robins had the chance to get rid with his coaching shake up, so did King. King also has a second chance when he got rid of Robins and a third chance when he brought in Lampard. Where I stand is I know our keepers aren't very good and as I have never seen Williams coach it's a bit like...

    Defensive coach / Goalkeeping coach

I don't disagree about his stats. Perhaps he is just a bad keeper? I have never seen anything positive in him and said from the outset he looked like an accident waiting to happen and he got away with a lot early on. But I suspect Viveash thought he had something? Now you come on, Collins...

    Defensive coach / Goalkeeping coach

Goals conceded aren't always down to the goalkeeper or the goalkeeping coach though. But you are obviously like a dog with a bone so I will leave it there.

    Defensive coach / Goalkeeping coach

There are lots of questions to ask, not just about a coach or coaches. Before Williams people blamed Oggy. I bet most have never seen either coach a single session. Having heard Oggy on the radio he knows a lot about tactics etc and not just from a goalkeeping perspective. His knowledge is...
