The team seem to have a bit of a hybrid approach at the moment. Sometimes gradual build up, sometimes the longer pass, but they're definitely moving it quicker.

From what I know of James O'Brien he is not a nice person and has some extreme views.

Not so long ago I didn't think he was worth a place in the squad either but now he is playing in his preferred position he looks quite useful. Similar thing happened when Lampard played EMC on the left wing. PS Using DaSilva as a wing back is also playing someone where he can look OK.

Most of teams we've just beaten are in patches of poor form (Bristol excepting), we have been lucky to play them at this time. Actually our recent form is quite good compared to most of the teams above us even now, only Leeds & Burnley are keeping up the pressure.

Quite a few players have gone from regular starters to the bench and vice versa under Lampard. It shows there is good competition for places in the squad, nothing to be worried about.

So I reckon there is still hope.

Dovin's kicking has really come on, he was struggling to get distance early doors but he's brushed up his technique. Are we allowed to praise Mr Williams coaching for that?

He really saw that shot late, that would have beaten most goalies in this league. The great thing is Watford were not getting those scrappy efforts from the loose balls in the area that we were conceding only a few weeks ago and they were restricted to longer range efforts.

He was practising kicking with 2 others (I think one was Collins) from the goal nearest the Watford fans before even the other players came out and practising shot stopping while the rest of the team were doing their pass & intercept kick around. Unless my eyes are that bad. 👀

He's been playing 90 mins regularly so he's got good and proper match fit.

Yeah wrong decision by Eccles there and to cap it all his shot was well wide, I thought he could even have tried to carry the ball into the box and maybe get a foul.
