I think if we doubled our money at this stage, it's probably a fair deal. Would I be happy with 2 million, absolutely not. But i'm also realistic, he's nearing 25, the second half of last season he was dreadful and whilst he's shown flashes of brilliance this year, for me he's failed to deliver.

I'd be amazed if we get much more than 1mill for Hamer. Let's be honest he's not exactly ripped it up this season. Infact this time last year he was on something like 6 goals and 5 assists, what's he on now, 1 goal 2 assists, both from a corner? I know the role of a midfielder is more than that...

We won't be doing much, let's be honest. Might be able to sneak in a loan or two but that is it. And to be honest despite the blistering start, if we finished 12th this season it's a massive improvement and we go again next season with another years experience at this level under our belts.
