If our strikers could actually finish, Thomas would have 10-15 assists this season. People are quick to forget the first few months of the season where he was our only attacking option, dragging the team forward by himself.
So to summarise:
- CCC admit they were in negotiations with SISU in bad faith / stalling
- ACL were looking to sell Ricoh to Wasps A YEAR before Northampton move
- Email records that Higgs were unlikely to ever sell to SISU
What have I missed?
Hickman's out of contract this summer. I think his loan could just be a favour by the club to let some teams down at that level see what he can do and get some footage for a highlight tape.
SISU don't NEED to sell. This is why Coventry are so different to other clubs situations. You hold an investment while it slumps and don't immediately sell when things start to look better (i.e edge of L1 Playoffs)
Shocking lack of creativity today. No one got close enough to Baka. The Ricoh pitch clearly has a huge impact on the way we play - sometimes you need to go route one.
Literally all the consortium have to do is go to the Telegraph and say "We're all the members, here's our net worths, take some pictures". Boom, instant credibility and potential proof of funds/ability to run the club in the public eye.
Came across this on Twitter. Have to assume this is why Robins wanted him and why he was singled out by recruitment team. Back in for him in the summer?
