The first team need to be able to put on worthwhile training sessions looking at shape/patterns of play/set pieces....
With the threadbare squad we have, the players being talked about need to be in those sessions rather than the development squad games...
I'm sure it is... my post was slightly tongue in cheek!....
But if you have played a part in compiling said list, you are going to remember a bit about it!
Two, hopefully three.. said in after match interview on CWR yesterday. Didn't say what type of deals they would be, but did say how hard the January window was.
This goes off the current direction of this thread, but local MP, Nadim Zahawi in a spot of bother....
Weirdly, Carol Vorderman quoting Les Reid (who our own council have bullied over the Ricoh/Wasps fiasco)
My take is that we have had interest/enquiries about some of our players, but at the moment we have rebuffed them. Conceivably we could be enquiring about lower division clubs decent players...??
Robins said 2, probably 3 in. But Jan window very difficult, clubs top players don't move, you ask and clubs say no, one the other way round, clubs ask us and you sat no.... from his after-match on CWR...
If we had their squad and got put in an embargo, I wouldn't be too worried that we couldn't sign anyone!!
Obviously would be a bit concerned as to why we were in one though!!!
