If Sakamoto mixed it up more with which foot he crosses with and only beat his man once the assists would be higher. It's nothing to do with coming back from injury.

Sakamoto is the same one trick pony he was before his injury. Teams had already started to work him out. Dasilva hasn't got a truck. Lati is decent in several positions, but never a RWB? Lampard's selections were odd today. Especially BTA as a loan striker.

In fairness he can probably play RB but not RWB. He can play in other position too. Now tell me what Dasilva can do?

I think fans need to take a breath. It is still early days for Frank Lampard and he is still getting to know the squad and their strengths and weaknesses. In reality we are a 10-6 team rather than a top 6 team. We have had two really hard fixtures that has shown us the gulf between us, a top...

    Pato

At that rate of progress it could be some time then 😂. I think with players making progress and players coming back from injury we don't need him.

Yes we would because of the product. But to real fans? Would they stay we us? In the seventies despite being in the top flight our fan base was brittle if not fickle.

    Next Season

No. The teams coming down will still be strong The likes of Birmingham and Wrexham potentially coming up - they may not be top 6 material but I suspect will be competitive and able to hold their own. In recent seasons a section of our fans have rubbished the chances of the like of Burnley...

Our fans melt down at the occasional loss or bad run. Imagine losing every week - they couldn't cope. By the time we got relegated we would be back to the 10-11,000 die hards.

    Pato

Considering he has been training with us some time, Ipswich would have been a good game to involve him in, even if off the bench. Not convinced myself.

It was from using woad so I think experts would have an idea. No doubt they could produce different shades. But the True Coventry Blue wasn't about the shade, I think it was more about how colour fast it was and didn't fade.

I love the fact we are now the Sky Blues and feel it is part of our identity. But over the years we have had some terrible washed out and insipid shades of Sky Blue.
