    Parachute Clubs

That's a bit like saying teams with the ambition to join the Premier League have got it wrong? Without Parachute payments the gulf gets wider between Championship and Premier League.

Yes Luton, Wigan, Reading, Bolton, Watford, Norwich and WBA have stormed it 😂 Stoke anyone?

    Keepers

Yes we had a good defence. But people have forgotten the saves Wilson made to keep us competitive in a game. He wasn't making save after save but he pulled a number of good ones off. I don't think I have seen Collins save anything that isn't routine and is responsible for some howlers. I...

OK Grimes gave the ball away cheaply.. When they got behind us Dasilva was slow to respond to any danger as always. But Burnley in the box we had plenty of people to deal with it, including Collins as goalkeeper. Defensively in the penalty area it was a collective mess. The whole defence has...

It is a tough game! A point would be massive. But I am hoping for three! If we get beat, we just go again! 😎

Robson told them he wasn't fit for Saturday and Neal who had never had a serious injury in his career suggested he was shirking (re my previous post Robson was crocked and went to extraordinary lengths to turn out for team). So Robson punched him in the face.

Stuart Robson was a brilliant player and very good for us. He was a crock when we signed him. But could still put in a magical and energetic 60 minutes for us. He had vision and a full golf bag of passing ranges. He could close people down and do the dirty work. The fact he was out on the...

    Luton game moved to 12:30

With us in the play off race, Luton fighting against relegation and the fact Luton got promoted to the Prem by beating us at Wembley; it was always going to be attractive for the TV companies. As much as I hate 12.30 KO's (even 1pm would be a vast improvement) is anyone really surprised this...

Only if he wants to fuck up his career 😂. He will go where he stands a good chance of winning things.

What a load of bollocks. He is decent at this level and a very consistent; I believe he is still improving.

You are having a laugh. Stuart Pearce was great for us from the very first game. Despite coming from non league he never looked out a place at our level (which was top flight).

Colin Bell Man City. When I started watching Coventry City regularly Dennis Mortimer and not far behind Tommy Hutchison and Willie Carr.

I have never had a problem with Wilson. I thought people got an unjustified downer on him similar to Bidwell. I have never bought into this idea he was protected by a good defence. Yes he was but he did a good job behind it. He made very good saves to keep us in games or keep us in the lead...

A lot to be said about this post. Players attitude in training, in the team, out the team, on the bench, how they support other team mates. Desire to get on the pitch. Drip drip drip in the coaches and managers mind. Always be ready for your opportunity!!
