    Todays games

Presumably violent contact (retaliated when a tussle on the floor), so should be 3 (bloody hope so!)

    Todays games

Is it a definite 3 game ban ? (I know some are 2 games. Just logged on here to check!) Come on the equaliser!!

    Todays games

If Wednesday lose tonight, they are down in my opinion. Wycombe are gone. That leaves Blues, Rotherham and Huddersfield imo. We just need to finish above one of them.

    Todays games

Said elsewhere but Rotherham (despite their crap form) have got a really 'winnable' run of games, whereas Wednesday have the opposite. Draw a great result, but don't want a Rotherham win. Injuries for both teams please (especially Rotherham, as we play them a week on Saturday)

    12 Games to Go

I'm confident that Wycombe and Sheff Wed (even if they win tonight) are going down, Studied their fixtures and Wednesday have a horrible run Rotherham (h) 3 Reading (a) 0 Norwich (h) 0 Huddersfield (h) 3 Barnsley (a) 1 Watford (a) 0 Cardiff (h) 0 QPR (a) 1 That's me being very generous...

    Match Thread Derby match thread

Derby rested about 5 first teamers for last night's game (no doubt they'll be back for us). They had 73% possession versus 27% for Cardiff and lost 4-0 !! EdIt - just seen something similar posted earlier re: Derby resting players.

    Hamer

Was just about to post the same. Waiting for the odd away game at teams who have a good playing surface. Most of the midfield battle was being played at head height/bobbling in the air yesterday (which doesn't help Hamer!)

The difference watching on the screen v attending

I agree that I am much more involved in the overall match day; what I am getting at is that when watching on the screen I am literally playing every 50/50 challenge in my head, as if I can affect the game. I played a lot over the years and muscle memory results in the leg twitching etc that...

    12 Games to Go

I would prefer a Sheff Wed win tonight (or a draw) Sheff Wed have a nasty run of games coming up afterwards, and I think they are doomed regardless, and Rotherham losing/not winning would keep them down in the dumps. A series of injuries during the match wouldn't go amiss. I still fancy us to...

The difference watching on the screen v attending

After last night's game I felt drained and - despite no alcohol involved - I could tell my blood pressure was up. In the early hours I woke up and thought about it some more (usual post match; will we stay up etc) then wondered about the actual viewing experience, It got me thinking that at the...

    12 Games to Go

If we don't lose to Rotherham away, we will stay up. We may even if we lose that, but that's my 'early' benchmark.

    12 Games to Go

I think I would prefer a Sheff Wed win or draw, rather than a Rotherham win tomorrow. Birmingham have a horrible run of games coming up too.

    Strikers next season

For those advocating Juke; from the Birmingham forum tonight.... Sad to say but he just has such little impact in attack, goal creation or goals. Give him a long rest and see where he is next season. Maybe he is still feeling his covid, either way he isnt the player he was a few seasons ago...

    Match Thread Middlesbrough ("H") - Tues 2nd March - 19:00 KO - St. Andrews

That's his first 90 minutes, and he is obviously playing his way back to fitness. I'm not worried about Dabo having lost the attacking part of his game, as it will improve markedly as he regains full fitness. Until he reaches 100%, MR needs to let Pask come on for him during the last 20 mins or...

    Match Thread Middlesbrough ("H") - Tues 2nd March - 19:00 KO - St. Andrews

If we'd have drawn that 1-1, most on here would have been content. Blew it right at the end, I think MR could have brought Pask on for Dabo earlier, but in fairness, our few 'chances' involved him in the latter stages of the second half, and it was only right at the end that they threatened us...

    Match Thread Middlesbrough ("H") - Tues 2nd March - 19:00 KO - St. Andrews

Anybody want to see us on a flat pitch. The Trillion pitch turned that largely into a slugfest. Didn't deserve a win, perhaps deserved a draw (but only just) Noro's defence was good and Walker barely got a sniff. Regroup and go again. No time to sulk.

First time I've been worried about my blood pressure when they scored their second. Need to recalibrate and calm.

That hurt. Hopefully Blues draw and Wednesday v Rotherham is a draw. Harsh, but we haven't played well (although they didn't deserve to win either)
