I don't understand why ratings for O'brien are so low? I felt really comfortable having him in goal. Came for and claimed every opportunity successfully and prevented a couple of chances being brave and diving in at feet. I would be happy to keep him as first choice.

This isn't a knee-jerk reaction based on this game because you will see I have said this plenty so far but we need more going forward. If Robins doesn't get a striker and a creative midfielder we will be doing well to finish mid table with the current squad. Very disapointed.

Mid table at best. Defence will be ok but we won't score many. I like Robins and think he's the best man for the job but don't think the attacking / creative side of the squad is strong enough. Going to be a long season.

What I find more noticeable on this statement is the attempt to distance the "owners" and the "football club".

I'm generally an optimistic fan but I really struggle to see how we can be thinking of challenging for the title... our defence will be ok but how are we going to score goals? We don't have a creative player, we don't have a goalscorer. If that changes before the end of the window then my mind...

Not sour grapes just because he's gone but I really don't understand what position he will end up playing. Definitely not a defender, he is a great passer so could be a defensive midfielder but I don't think he's mobile enough for that position. Wish him well though.
