Last I’m saying on it-he didn’t miss it and would have seen where the ball was (near the goal line). The assistant didn’t miss it either and again would have seen the ball near the goal line. They were not 100% sure the ball had crossed the goal line therefore can’t award a goal. Any thoughts...

Look at the three closest Southend players; one kicks the ball away in disgust and the keeper goes to console the sheepish looking defender on the line. Players instinctive reactions are a huge giveaway.

I think that sums it up quite well. The first half v Oxford in particular was very cagey and Robins seems happy enough to take a few nil nils. Whether that's his preferred L1 style or he's waiting for players to be fit/up to speed remains to be seen.
