This highlights how good Hamer was. Singled handedly handled a Championship midfield of him/Eccles and Howley on occasions last year....

That's the thing.... It's Sheaf Eccles..... And OHare. Or Sheaf/Kelly..... And OHare And god forbid Eccles/Kelly..... And OHare OHAre replaces Palmer (or Ayari) and it doesn't do anything to change the Eccles/Sheaf(Kelly) "dynamic"

Some flashes of real quality on the ball (also some poor decisions ) horrendously out of shape without it.

Few thoughts here.... Thread to discuss So, a midfield of: Sheaf - Eccles Palmer Gap between Sheaf/Eccles and Palmer too big? Sheaf/ Eccles both like minded. As Robins alluded to - nothing at present to properly knit front to back (and we didn't sign anything either)...

Some good stuff played. Until our goal, Bachmann had kept them in it with some good goalkeeping. (Not seen back, but looks like he could have done better with Ewoks free kick.) Looked like a poor goal to concede. Wright is causing problems. Palmer doing some good stuff, let down by final ball.

We'll need to take chances. They will have a lot of the ball. They create a lot too... To this point, they have had no luck in front of goal. If you are a stats man, as Frostie noted earlier, highest Xg in the league!!

So, just home after a very kind poster donated their ticket - thank you!! A bit underwhelmed to be honest. Managed to get in at about 6:45 on a 7pm ticket. Offered prosecco and pastries on way in. Nice. (Had an orange juice) Robins left at around 7, so the second lot wouldn't have seen him. No...
