I used to play a lot of football and muscle memory/ dreaming of playing caused me to kick my wife regularly in bed. Luckily duvets prevented any damage😂.

It's to stop clubs making frivolous appeals, and is more effective than a fine, as otherwise rich clubs would/could appeal everything, whilst clubs struggling financially may be wary of appealing a valid case.

Not sure that really is a problem for the club, unless those supporters turn their back on the club because they are not 'near the top', or whatever the unrealistic expectation is, in a tougher...

How does the statement help anybody, though? You don't get 12 clubs in the PL make statements before the start of a season saying 'we don't expect to achieve anything this season as we can't afford to compete with the bigger clubs'

If the owners came out with this, you would be supportive of that statement. Really? Surely we will have a higher budget in 21/22 than 20/21, purely based on ticket sales etc ?

Agree that this area of the club's strategy will be crucial for next season (and beyond) The end of season will be interesting with regards to how we restructure the squad.

Anybody remember how we got those goals against Brentford? Digs at Max, based on that game are laughable (and fine if you don't rate him, but both strikers played a key part in that win, coupled with Brentford's idiocy in playing out from the back on that surface). Glad when we can get stuck...
