The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

What strikes me also, is that this seems like a circular argument. If Wasps become insolvent, then a key part of the asset value is supposedly that of the Ricoh lease. But what is the value of the Ricoh lease without Wasps playing there - surely it must be substantially impacted? It could be...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

The condition about not playing professional football at the BPA? That has never been in place - the council tried to get it added when discussions about a ground share with CCFC became known. This is a matter of public record, SBT. EXCLUSIVE: This leaked email reveals council bid to block...

    Mediation talks underway

That's a good post shmmeee. Personally I'm not asking for the Council to do another Ricoh in terms of putting public money in, I'm just asking them to support us finding somewhere else within the city given that the Ricoh is looking less and less like an option. At the moment everything the...

It's OK, that's the Nuneaton line to the Ricoh. It's not like there's more than one train a day anyway. I'm sure they won't mind waiting whilst the opposition take their corners (and subsequently celebrate their goals), for our side it's obviously academic. :)

We should just submit the application as Wasps. It'll get waved straight through then... ;)

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

No - the JR2 sits entirely separate to this. The council couldn't be seen to deny PP just because SISU are taking them to court. They could make it much harder though, I'm sure.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

My cynicism regarding the planning process is unbounded (with apologies to those who work in the field). It always seems to me that the odds are stacked heavily in the developer's favour - given I quite like the idea of a stadium at the Butts, perhaps, for once, that's to our advantage...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

CRFC have had a couple of good players from Wasps this season, but as a fan of Cov I don't think it's critical to them. In truth there's no guarantee it wouldn't continue in any case; the loan arrangements generally suit both clubs and regardless, there's more than one Premiership team that Cov...

Selling to Wasps was patently not in the best interests of the club - look at where we are now. It's not just SISU who can't be trusted.

What does posting this kind of tripe achieve? Tim doesn't have any fan boys. There aren't any SISU apologists here either. No one is having kittens but there are a few single-celled organisms having minor spasms, clearly. It's sounds a bit like the meeting last night. It's not a...

    Mediation talks underway

I don't recall the council ever offering or suggesting an alternative site to the Ricoh either SBT, so politely, I think you're mistaken. I can't see any issue with drawing all of the sides together to talk - that has to be a step forward. If it's SISU bullshit, and it may well be, then the...

SISU mouth piece? Hello pot, kettle here! This is a bit rich from someone who benefits financially from Wasps and then posts on a daily basis that the Wasps/Ricoh option is the only option. So I'd take a long, hard look at yourself before trying to accuse someone else of being a mouthpiece...

    Jim Blyth's comments on Oggy...

Yep, Kirkland, Westwood, Murphy all crap and didn't improve a bit whilst at the club. When it comes to RCC and Burge I'd look at the raw material that the coach has to work with rather than necessarily criticise Oggy. Either way I'd settle for an average experienced keeper rather than a kid...

    Never Visited The Cathedral

I do like the Old Cathedral, and will usually pop for a look in if I'm wandering around town (which isn't very often). Personally, I wouldn't pay to go in the new one though. The Guildhall is very impressive if you get a chance to have a look in there, as is Holy Trinity (the one by the...

    Good Luck!

Respect to anyone who does it, I get enough exercise chasing my first touch around the pitch every now and then. Doing a half-marathon requires training and discipline, so clearly no good for me. Saying that, when I was younger, I used to run three miles a day without fail. But by the end of...

    32,000 sold already

If enough people ridiculed them, it probably would. But then football's a funny old game and I think there's still some who see some sort of reflected glory in having the hardest 'crew' or dumbest yobs, depending on your standpoint.

    St. Patricks Day

English my arse, if you can only go back to 1066 you could be one of those Norman buggers who came over here taking our jobs and our women (they were good plumbers, mind). If you can't trace your roots back to at least Stonehenge then it's back to the continent for you matey. :)
