    EFL Meeting 1pm today

'We find ourselves in a situation where there's no money coming in, but there’s still money going out. It’s a basic rule of economics that your ins have to be more than your outs.' - Andy Pilley - who spent £128 on wages for every £100 Fleetwood received even before CV.

    EFL Meeting 1pm today

I think the original comment was how to troll Notts Forest fans rather than serious post on naming conventions. Works a treat in my experience...

^ I suspect that too. By putting it out as a vote, they already know which way it'll go as it's in the interest of 75% of clubs to end it now.

    EFL Meeting 1pm today

The EFL saw the backlash from the lower National Leagues when they arbitrarily voided the season, so they decided to separate the questions. As we get closer to 30th June, I think the players' contractual situation has forced the clubs' hands. Clubs with nothing to play for aren't going to...

It's clever by the EFL as it enables them to avoid making one difficult decision.

Remember any vote is only regarding playing the remaining fixtures. What happens to promotion/relegation will be decided separately.

Roll call for Notts County away Saturday at 3pm

Wasn't there (wish I had been), but agree that watching L2 games back really does show how much Robins has evolved the squad. I only hope we get to finish this job this year, but if not, then we'll just do it all again next time.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I think one thing that the govt has done is well is psychologically sold the idea of an impending lockdown. If they've had gone balls first into lockdown on Monday, they'd have been massive push back and resentment (see Boris's dad's comment on going to the pub for example). But 5 days later...

    Can we help CCFC?

Maybe in times of lay offs, redundancies, severe illness and death, the club continuing to exist and hopefully getting promotion is a small beacon of hope to cling to? This shit is going to get a lot worse before it gets better and I don't know about others, but when I can finally go and watch...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Premiership clubs are preparing to ask players to take a 25 per cent paycut because of the financial effects of the coronavirus outbreak, Telegraph Sport has learned. Both Gloucester and Sale Sharks have called staff meetings for Friday in which they will outline the radical measures and it is...

    Can we help CCFC?

I mentioned in another thread that I'd be happy to put up £200 now as a deposit on a season ticket next year (irrespective of location or division).

I'm for putting up £200 now as a deposit on next year's season ticket. Irrespective of where we're playing or what league. After all this is money the club should be getting around this time in early bird ticket sales.
