The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Well, let’s go ahead then. At least the argument that people didn’t know what they were voting for would be over.

Haha. Brexit is a Brexiteer mess. They voted for something they hadn’t agreed on beforehand and fully misunderstood the attitude of the EU, how the EU works and how much damage Brexit would do to the UK.

As both are not popular with most voters, remain has to be on the table as an alternative.

Vote of confidence. Lab Lib SNP plus some older remainer Tories against the rest of the Tories and DUP. Bye bye Tories. GE and/or PV. Parliament is at an impasse, put the cards on the table and let the people decide on the Brexit we now can see versus remain.

Who do you think does stand a chance of power? The Tories who caused this mess by calling the referendum? The leader and his no manifesto party, which has few members ( the 25£ a head gang are not members and have no rights), is a limited company with the leader himself as sole director and CEO...

The ERG has blocked the only leave deal on the table, and all other leavers are now going for a no deal which was not going to happen according to leavers before the referendum. No deal is unacceptable to the majority in parliament and leaves a people’s vote to find out how the public sees no...

Labour claim they have tried their best to get a negotiated deal according to their conference terms. It is no longer possible because of the Tory upcoming change of leadership and lack of time. They will not accept no deal and will call for a vote. GE first, but the Tories won’t allow that, so...

The Mail has the same. Tits and bums. Their readers just like looking at tits and bums. Not a political message. Just a fact, which is why they do it. PS don’t ask why I was looking at it.

You don’t have to get out if you don’t want to change the status quo or are not that bothered. If you want to change things you have to get out and vote. Most people are not that bothered.

Why weren’t people in favour of May‘s leave deal then? It met the only criterium given = leaving the EU. Leave the EU is not enough to give a clear mandate. You have to know what leave is, otherwise you will always have this argumentation. I meant 2 answers, leave v remain, with a subsequent...

Why not? It has been suggested before. You can’t claim will of the people when it wasn’t clear which end result people were voting for. May presented a leave agreement and it was rejected as not being leave. Although it was leave. If you are going to change the legal status of the UK by...

They are not pushing for another referendum with the same question because „leave“ didn’t say what leave actually was. The problem would remain and the answer would be similar ( a couple of percent either way ). The option of a people’s Vote should be leave or remain, but this time round with...

Went from 7% to 11% ( went up at the final count ). Nothing like they predicted. The East is their area. They don’t like foreigners ( Muslims in particular) and the East has the least migrants and therefore the least Muslims. Hardly being overrun, but seem to play on people’s fears.

I loathe Farage, but he knows what he is doing. Calling his party Brexit says it all. The colour sky blue is fresh ( Jimmy Hill saw the advantage over the traditional darker blue as well ). The orchestration of his rallies, the personality cult, the booing and hissing at his opponents creating...

No. AfD are disappointed. Only got 10%. Greens are the winners. AfD blame the scandal with the FPÖ in Austria offering corrupt contracts to a Russian in exchange for the Russian buying a tabloid and campaigning for them. The Austrian right and extreme right government has ended in tears. Usual...
