Or silk screen it into the fabric (like a lot of rugby teams do). What let's Hummel down is the stick on badges and chevrons. It cheapens the shirts and over time makes them look awful.
Teams like, Aston Villa, West Ham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Juventus, Barcelona and many others are very consistent in the colours used on main shirt. Which I like.
The variety and experimentation comes in the change strip.
There is no set brand colour for our Sky Blue. I have been supporting the club for about 58 years and we have used all sorts of shades of Sky Blue. Some borderline on not actually being Sky Blue.
What is odd is it actually looks like three shades of blue. The sleeves seem different to the two shades of blue on the body. Also the trim around the neck is different to the trim on the sleeves. It looks a right hotchpotch of ideas.
Almost like a quiz question in a football magazine,where...
Two shades of blue I don't have a problem with. But those two shades combined look far too wishy washy for my tastes. I hope that isn't the shirt, because if it is I won't be buying one. Although things can look different in real life.
Fulham have a good track record of producing good talent. Players aren't always released because they aren't rated. Sometimes it's just a numbers game like 7 into 5 won't go.
Probably because it is not all down to the club. They have to tie in with the manufacturer. Then there things like the sponsorship deals to sort out. And sponsors are paying to be on the shirt.
It is not a simple as a lot of fans think
Sometimes you can't help but sell your best players. So the best an owner can do is get the best deal possible.
Trying to hang on to players and forcing them to stay has a negative impact on the player. It also impacts on your ability to sign good players in the future.
Sometimes these players have been monitored for years. But you have to let them develop and progress. Bringing them in too soon would be counter productive to their development and chances of success. Also while they are developing elsewhere we aren't paying their wages.
Anyway saving say...
He does run channels the same as Wright BTA and EMC but the midfield are too slow in releasing the ball or spotting the run. It's why we get caught offside so often. Don't blame individuals for team problems.
In many games there was little else he could do but occupy defenders, especially away from home, because our midfielders couldn't get the ball to him. Wright had the same problem when he was played down the middle.
