If a young PL striker (who will rarely if ever play during the season) gets 15-20 games in The Championship (more if successful) then a PL club - and player - will be happy with that in terms of experience, I would have thought.

Agree if money wasn't so tight, but as a 4th choice Max will be way cheaper than likely replacements. I just think with the juggling of finances, competition for players amongst clubs which will occupy time and money, Max is an easy/cheap one year option.

Agree with this in terms of intent; think finances will dictate that Max is kept as a 4th striker (and he's probably earned it). Also need to weed/loan out those who are unlikely to impact on the squad and strengthen via loans, assuming we can't afford permanents.

I thought I'd read the £8 figure somewhere Rob, and I allowed 2,500 purchase, based on more than our away following, on the basis that a lot who do not do the away travel may be down to age, infirmity, inconvenience and cost (away equals a whole day commitment, and cost is a lot more than £10)...

    Sam Mccallum

We'd be mad to miss out if £1.5m (didn't Norwich sign him for between £2m- £3m?). He's only going to get better, and at his age, his value is only going to increase. Unless one of the new lads is going to be of similar(ish0 quality, I'd buy him back if we can, or loan if we can't.

Get it out of the way - Walsh and Baker (McSheffrey's legs have gone, though, so not him)

Some households of a group of CCFC fans obviously only need one purchase to view, but I'd be disappointed if we didn't shift at least 2500 for every away game, (factoring some who will have had some games via Sky) Should be many more - guess we'll find out at some point. If the club gets £8 per...

I've forked out (as a lot of others will have) the equivalent of my ST (and more) via ifollow for the away/cup games etc. Not seen any figures for the income to the club, but hopefully , as it is our first season at this level, and most games - until now! - have seen vitally important, the take...

I think he'd be 'happy' being a squad player fighting for a chance (and they will come, given the amount of games) - seems to love it here - saw the Sweet Caroline dance he was leading in the dressing room - brilliant!!

Just thinking that before I got to your post! Be incredibly surprised if we got OSti though,; surely he will have a lot of suitors.

    O'Hare

Hoping that we can tie James down in the summer too. His calmness in the centre allows him to link bits of play together in the middle of the park, which is where O'Hare thrives breaking forward from. I saw signs that Hamer was enjoying linking up with them too, on a better pitch.

No problem with him pushing forward, but his defensive awareness is awful at times. Can't fault his desire, attitude in general, it's almost like he's never been coached. For a rwb he was on the near (left side) post when their cross came in from their right, straight over to where he would...

Fletcher was a real handful when he came on. Sorry to pick on Da Costa, but have a look at where he (right wing back) was for their second equaliser. Nobody then marking Clucas. Also reminds me of a kid who doesn't know how to take a throw in every time he picks up the ball to take one.

Much more excitement than we were expecting. Great win. Spirits must be high. Like Gyo the more I see of him, Not a typical striker, though, but he does seem to have some upper body strength, and a trick or two about him.

Da Costa actually makes me laugh when he's defending (ok when we're more relaxed as fans)
