That’s sort of what I thought, another reason to 2nd jab in the recommended 3 - 4 weeks. I’ve thought all along this would be the route to the obligatory government fuck up :unsure: and I still do.

That’s what I mean, I’ve not seen it mentioned anywhere. if the same vaccine is needed for 1st and 2nd dose it puts a lot more pressure on making sure of availability, With them pushing back 2nd doses up to 12 weeks I hope they’re absolutely confident that the particular vaccine needed for 2nd...

I honestly don’t know but I’m assuming you can’t mix n match with the virus, ie: if you receive the Pfizer vaccine for your first jab then only the Pfizer will work for the follow up and the same with the AstraZeneca etc. Or am I wrong, can any of the 2nd doses be used ?

I still think we will be fine.
