Judge Says Belief in Biological Sex Not Protected

It's not shaming it's just a form of bullying. Shouting louder than someone else is just another form of bullying. These people end up with a Machiavellian attitude "that the ends justify the means". It's "i'm right so you must be wrong"

Judge Says Belief in Biological Sex Not Protected

Where things have got out of control is the use of social media to spread abuse. Social media companies often claims free speech outweighs anything (cynic in me thinks that more to do with profit). People emboldened to make "hateful" comments whilst hiding behind their computer screens etc. or...

Judge Says Belief in Biological Sex Not Protected

Spent a couple of hours going through this as it's interesting. Cannot for the life of me work out where free speech, religious (or other) belief and scientific fact can draw clear lines on this issue. Moving the balancing between physical and psychological approaches is surely subjective...

    New Labour Leader

Also the NHS is used as a safety net by large numbers of people with lifestyle and behaviour-related diseases. We're caught in the conundrum of people living longer but notnecessarily in good health. EU visitors under ehic get their health costs paid by own govt. Don't think this applies to EU...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

same in Hungary as it's considered tax evasion. Import a car and you have to pay duty depending on value, age, etc. Didn't use to be able to register right hand drive vehicles but not sure now. See a lot of Slovakian plates in Hungary as much cheaper to buy a car there and even then reregister...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

One of the "things" about free movement is that authorities can't check when people arrived. I'm about 3 hours drive from 6 EU "borders" so if i said i just drove in from Austria or Czech etc. no-one can prove it (especially if you haven't changed your reg plates - something else many "expats"...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

tbf in Budapest a lot done in spoken English but obviously paperwork is Hungarian. As far as i know it seems to differ here from UK in that for residency you've always had to have an address, proof of sufficient funds, can't get social security until after a longish period (not sure exactly) and...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yep. Not so many of us here but Hungary the same. This "associated" citizenship is obviously of great interest as well. Also having issues of what happens during the exchange of passports as law is you have to have picture id and a driving licence or residency card isn't sufficient. We can stay...

sorry telling Euro MPs or British MPs? All i've seen is he wants EU citizens already legally in UK and UK citizens legally in EU to have their existing rights protected.

They don't get that many people resent and resist this outside interfering. Johnson tells Germans to oppose merkel or Corbyn tells the French to resist macron and they're not going to like it. Like the Luxemburg PM trying to embarrass the British PM - doesn't go down well with many people

    More Wasps BS?

I thought that Wasps originally committed to developing the land and was one of the key points in the council's decision to do a deal with Wasps. Came out from that "behind closed doors" council meeting that no-one wanted to discuss - commercial confidentiality etc.

    Lukaku Chants Were Not Racist........Apparently...

Seria A just don't seem to get it. Artist has painted monkeys for years apparently - really what % of people would know that? People are supposed to look at the eyes as there's Western and Asian versions there too (sounds a bit stereotypical and racist as well). 99% of people are just going...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

think 2017 played into it when May misjudged things so badly. Parties maybe thought Tory support would fall again as voting day drew close. Obvious that labour didn't see collapse support in so many strongholds. SNP thought they could capitalize on antipathy towards both major parties and Brexit...

    General Election 2019 thread

Because UK investors are smart enough to avoid it? Aren't the major shareholders a British group? People comparing our train services to European ones should welcome the expertise of these European companies. Those arguing for EU free market etc. can't complain when they invest in the UK

Strongly linked with Dallas but don't see him and Jones getting on well. Health issues key but also he's a difficult character and is not going to be able to push around pros like he did college players. Starts well and it'll be roses but things don't go right and the toys will be out the pram...
