MVE goes for £10 million ISH. Bassette goes on loan to sort his attitude out, Collins loaned to a league one side possibly. Then a top CB, followed by a winger who can play anywhere in the attacking areas. Striker with a good header goal threat and isn't injury prone.

Not panicking but clubs leaving it later again. If we can bring in a pacey CB, a both sided winger and a striker in that order then I would say we would be up there challenging. They are the priorities I would say after pre season.

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything regarding a new CB after we sold Binks. Unless Lampard is happy that Lati and Perry will be 2nd CB pairing, it's something we desperately need. I don't think we will get anything near autos even 3/4th that some are predicting with the current pairing...

We definitely need a better centre back. Just mentioned it in the transfer thread. We are still going to concede soft goals with Thomas / Kitching / Rushworth there.

I'm definitely on the side of getting a good centre back over a striker now. Pacey, good passer and strong. Thomas and Kitching are okay but we do need better to push for promotion.
