    Fulham at home on Sky

Fulham may sell more as they are likely to be top of the league, plus there will be a lot of their fans who like to tick off different grounds - this will be their first opportunity for The CBS. Think they'll bring 2k.

    Bright and Robins

The only part rumour I've heard is him attending a party in Canary Wharf. What else is knocking about ??

    Early season thoughts about Championship

I think PNE will finish highest of that bunch. Swansea maybe close to them. Agree with the rest

    Early season thoughts about Championship

Birmingham 11/1 to be relegated with Sky,, We're 14/1. Bit surprised at both of those odds. Huddersfield/PNE are about 7/2 (too short imo)

Jimmy Hill love fest. The first opportunity between the clubs? Sunderland fans will be tuning in no doubt!

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Not gone anywhere, but notice Colby Bishop scored both goals in a 2-2 draw with Barrow today (Ipswich and PNE sniffing around him) He's a real tough nut and reminds me of Lucas Juke (lazy spelling) at Blues. Still early 20s and may be worth a look at. Not a pacy player, but looks horrible to...

    Was it a good window?

I think a few clubs will have had issues clearing out players who they no longer want. People don't want to pay fees, and a lot of players on contracts (and not playing) are reluctant to leave for lesser wages, and in some cases there is no-one willing/able to take them.

    Early season thoughts about Championship

Fulham, West Brom, Stoke, QPR and Bournemouth - leaves us with one play off/automatic place to grab!

    Todd Kane

Just going to post the same. Only negative is that he has had a falling out at QPR, but hopefully he's learned his lesson.

Can't believe Stoke have got that Sima from Slavia Prague. Looked a class player when I saw him in the Europa League last season (albeit on loan from Brighton, who have loaned him to Stoke)

I may be wrong, Wingy, but I can see Fulham getting 90 plus points this season. Snap your hands off for any sort of result against them (or The Baggies)

    Early season thoughts about Championship

Depends on whether Grimes /Bidwell leave, who any late acquisitions are. Think they have enough grit to make mid-table. As with most of the potential mid--table teams, injuries or lack of can easily move them from top 6 to bottom 6.

    Todd Kane

I've heard on the grapevine that he's on the living wage per hour, so we're leaving it until 11pm so that we only have to pay £8.91 for today (plus agents fee of £250k)

Thumped on the telly, we're getting thumped on the telly (thought I'd start the pre-match song thread early!)

    Championship 21/22

Really? Reading's wage bill is £36m? Edit: just looked it up £37,6m quoted in April 21. Madness

    Early season thoughts about Championship

Just looking at those teams who might finish down at the wrong end of the table. I'll hold my hands up and admit I've changed my minds about 2 teams that I'd thought would struggle - Huddersfield and PNE. I actually think they'll be a bit nearer mid-table. Millwall haven't convinced me early...

But can he play left c**t ?

    Championship 21/22

Trouble is, nobody will replicate the wages they are currently on.

    Championship 21/22

But feels like a sticking plaster policy -- huge wages, no resale value, one season lifespan, two at a push, likely more injury prone (Carroll in particular)
