If they have put a big sell-on clause, fair enough. If he does very well here and we cash in, then it was money well spent at this level. If he doesn't succeed (and we all hope he does), they won't get much money and we probably got him for a cheaper price. I'd be happy for 20+ goals and sold...

Not sure if it is realistic...but if Wilson is sold soon, do you think MR could/would use the windfall (and more?) to tempt Walsh to return? Not sure if it would be enough for BCFC - or if the budget could stretch for his wages?

We must remember that this season is compacted, many weeks will involve midweek and Saturday games, so having two 'first choice' strikers with backups such as Max and Baka (or one might go), would probably be a sound idea. Injuries, suspensions or freshening the side up will all play a part...

What an awful idea! I wouldn't wear any football shirt apart from Coventry (apart from when playing for a local 5-a-side or 11 game). Would probably appeal to people with no real loyalty to a team - if they exist

Perhaps true (who knows), but I'd be surprised if they see Rose as a direct replacement for White, especially as they've gone up.

If I was buying for Leeds, I'd want somebody who had experience at a higher level (though I'd buy Rose as one to develop as well....).

Nice read - lots of favourable reports. My favourite bit is a fan moaning that towards the end of last season he wore some merchandise of the club and made positive comments on Twitter, so they thought he wanted to return. We wouldn't ever be fooled by that! 😃
