I think Bidwell would sign a new contract, can’t imagine he’d have much more appealing options than a team on the fringes of the play offs where he’s settled and has just won his place back. I also think he deserves a new contract too.

He’s such an important player for us and would love to keep him longer but can’t see it happening. I imagine him going to a club like leeds or similar. I never get gutted by players leaving anymore though, there will always be another hero along to replace them.

I agree but never right him off. He scores in bursts and I think he’ll have one more run before the end of the season. I think we have to persevere with Simms as the middle man for a bit and if he hasn’t improved, whack matty back in after a break.

I love Godden and he should be held as a modern legend at this club for getting us to the championship. His scoring record at this level is also fantastic and it’s amazing how he stepped up but he’s been way off his levels for about a month now and needs a rest. Could be something as simple as...

I would’ve agreed until the Leeds game where he actually showed strength, aggression and pace when he was up top on his own. It gives me hope that he does have those attributes admittedly it’s not been seen a lot.
