A good week of running for me last week. A last minute shout from a mate saw me do 5.5km on Tuesday, the brief was a steady run out. That was until we came upon a .8km long segment to which he challenged me to a race. Beat him by 4 seconds without getting into top gear, so I was happy with that...

He keeps running round my local Strava segments. Leaves me with no chance of topping them as I'm not quite on your guys level....yet.

Must agree, research has shown that running builds strength in areas such as knees. People who run generally have less knee issues in older age than those who don’t. It may be that you just have weak knees and need to build up some strength in them?
