Sky Blue Medical Group. Thinking about it we've long moved from the idea of a doctors surgery having one or two doctors and always seeing the same person. Given that commutes have also increased why do we still have a system that ties you to one surgery? Why can't I just have an appointment at...

    Ability or Application?

Not really sure why people thinking making subs in injury time when you're winning is some out there suggestion. Its a standard thing done by pretty much every club we play to waste time and break momentum. Its not about enacting some genius tactical switch.

you've clearly never phoned any of the receptionists at my surgery!

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Not being able to book a doctors appointment online drives me mad. This system clearly exists because my surgery used to have it and it worked brilliantly. For someone in my position, works about 45 minutes from home / surgery and needs regular routine appointments, I could book in those...

Thoughts on the NHS plan? Not convinced personally. Seems to revolve around community diagnostic centres which have been introduced since 2023 (I think, certainly around then in Cov) so is this just a case that they are now ready to open and Labour are going to take credit for any impact they...

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

The Sticky on Amazon Prime is decent. Very much a Fargo vibe to it. Only 6 half hour episodes so a quick one to whizz through.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Got through the whole thing in the last few days. Pretty shocking stuff as someone not really old enough to remember it in any detail.

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

What are you basing the idea he would be a good captain on? He's a guy that's barely played and doesn't even train with the first team because their manger perceives him to have such a bad attitude.

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

quick google seems to suggest a lot of injuries and the a huge bust up with the manager to the point he's not even training with the first team or in the group photo of every male and female player at the club. you'd be worried about how ready to go a player was who hasn't played in years and...

    Things that annoy you

I had to have loads of work done on my house when I bought it, which I was not expecting. The vast majority of trademen I dealt with were a fucking nightmare. Wouldn't turn up for appointments to quote, would quote and then disappear off the face of the earth, would schedule to do the job and...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Looking at the rise in school fees, without VAT, it seems that the increase in recent years has been huge in real terms. How come there was no 'won't somebody think of the poor children' when the schools were hiking the prices up?

How come we have a shortage of school spaces if that many kids are moving from state to private. Surely if literally half the class leaves they need more pupils to replace them? If classes are at 50% capacity aren't they in danger of being merged into other schools?

Well we are experts on everything, surprised we don't get consulted before these changes are made.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Genuine question but is there any stats on how often this happens? How many kids start in a regular comp, or whatever they are called these days, and then get taken out and move to a private school? Or is there any breakdown on the financial situation of the parents of kids in private schools.

    Dean Austin position untenable

Think we also should ask questions of Dr Roberts. We were told she was now involved in recruitment to ensure we got in players who had the right attitude. Would anyone argue that the signings now have a better attitude and personality than those we had previously?

    Dean Austin position untenable

because his new boss knows nothing about football or what happened at the club in the past so he's blamed all the failures on the fella that's not here anymore and taken credit for all the successes. sure we've all worked with people like that

Why wouldn't I like the source? Always interested in getting more data. Over what time period are they suggesting 141 schools will close and is that a net figure? For reference the figures I can find for 2024 show 46 schools closing but 77 new private schools opening. That number of closures is...
