Well I did 45 minutes on the exercise bike first hlaf and then drank a couple of beers 2nd half, so it seems that my switch to drinking beer inspired us to score.

We've got out of jail here brilliantly but if we hold on will have taken 4 points from 3 games we ought to have taken 6 or 7 from. The kind of stubborness he shows can be the difference between autos and lower play off places over the course of a season. The meltdowns were understandable today.

Does she have a head bandage and a black eye? It's a big bedside table.

I love Liam Kelly. All those threads and posts 2 seasons ago slagging him off and yet he's our most important player up the top of L1. I've got that picture of him in the white head bandage and black eye from last season on my bedside table. I've missed him.

Or even starting off with different systems to maximise our strengths against the opposition. The players are showing they can adapt!

Really hope we go on and win this, not just for the 3 points but so Robins sees what a difference his early changes have made.

Kelly must have been caught photoshopping Robins head onto some dwarf porn.

It's not like the rain or the size of their CBs is a surprise. Feels like we've come off the pitch on Sunday and Robins has just gone 'Unlucky lads, deserved to win so same again Wednesday please' and then had a couple of days off.

They have two giants at CB and watch when we get the ball there. We are just stood still waiting for the cross. We're playing right into their hands. (and we've already seen the ref isn't giving handball!)

I'm not a massive fan of it! But with the players we have available we have to pick a formation that suits while giving us a chance to get back in the game. ------------Marosi------------ Dabo-Rose-Hyam-McCallum -------------Kelly-------------- ---Walsh----------Shipley...

Baka will end up being the Scapedonkey again but I'd love to hear in Robins words how he was expecting to get the better of them in that half.

We've either gone long to a lonely looking Baka or worked the ball out wide and chipped crosses over. Their centre backs are enormous. Why are we even bothering to cross it? What do big donkey CBs hate? Short quick play through the middle that puts them on the back foot or makes them turn. Not...

I thought it summed things up when Dabo said after the MK game: “To keep a clean sheet is important to us because we hadn’t kept one in a while so it was one of our main objectives for the game. The only objective in that game on the back of their LLLLL record should have been giving them a...

We can make a pair of them then! Hope I get this thrown back in my face later but Fleetwood, in a night game, against a Joey Barton team who will be big, tough and experienced.... They will game-manage our kids off the park if we're not careful. Last year we played Fleetwood midweek in the...

So play him for 60 and then adapt to the in game situation at the time! He was ready for 90 against FGR 2 weeks ago! Infuriating decision. It's not just his turnover of the ball we miss too but his ability to accurately switch play with his diagonal passing.

    Matty Godden Injury

If he does persist with the 4-3-3, at the very least I'd swap Hiwula to the right of the 3 for a couple of games. A lot of his worst efforts this season have been when the ball has come across the box to him and he has to shoot on an angle with his left foot. Let him get those type of chances on...

    Matty Godden Injury

I was hoping that it would be one of those that just flares up and goes away with an injection and a few days off, knowing our luck it'll need an op though. “He had an injection of anaesthetic on Friday to numb the area to see if it does any good, and it was doing it good because it felt...

Have I erased some of Godden's misses in response to the trauma of it all? Apart from the 2nd half at Tranmere has he done much else wrong?

Stats: Win % when taking the lead + Goal types (equalizers, taking the lead, extending the lead)

We certainly have carried over some of the issues of last year into this season. My issue has been for a couple of season now that we don't kill games off when on top. We still top the list of total minutes level in games, which we also topped last season too. We've done better overall so far...

Stats: Win % when taking the lead + Goal types (equalizers, taking the lead, extending the lead)

Yes, when a team scores first they are more likely to win. In L1 last season scoring first in a game resulted, on average, in winning 69% of those games. There's also an expected discrepancy between % of games won when scoring first at home and away, although not as wide as you might think...
