Well I hope he tells them that wasn't an acceptable level of intensity at half time and gives them 10 minutes to improve but that performance was too hungover considering we brought 5 players in.

Bit leftfield but think I'd sacrifice Allen for Hiwula as first sub. Their oafs at the back will hate his pace and think we're carrying the ball too much today with Allen and O'Hare's dribbling. Need to pass and move a bit more and leave their donkeys chasing their own tails.

Can't believe Bennett has got this gig again so soon after his flounce a few weeks back. Like listening to Oggy too, disappointing.

That midfield 4 of Kelly, Walsh, Allen and O'Hare... Don't think I've been as excited to watch a midfield since about 1999 with McAllister, Chippo, Hadji, Froggatt

He's got black, yellow, green and blue too. I can't compete with someone that has that kind of resources at their disposal. If I was a team like Bolton, I'd play natural wingers and try to get our wing backs pushed back as deep as possible in the first half, as they are so key to our attacking...

Bolton are 17 points from safety with 20 games/60 points left to play for, of which only 8 of those matches are at home. Yes they have a much improved squad since we last played them and their home form is ok but draws are not good enough for Bolton anymore and if they are playing to win away...

Well that'll confuse our easily confused commentator. Godden up front for us and Godknows up front for you.

    Next Three League Games

We'll be fine against Bolton I think, I don't think they can afford to play for draws any more at this point in the season given their 17 point gap from safety.

    Matt Godden

He's a decent enough striker but I think we paid an inflated price at 750k and, considering what Robins wants him to do, I still think it's a slightly odd purchase as he is 'not quite' a lone striker for me - not quite tall enough to trouble the defenders in the air, not quite fast enough to...

    When was the last time

L1 2018/2019: Charlton last season 1-2 (Late Baka double) L2 2017/2018: Lincoln 1-2 (Jones and Nazon) Swindon 1-2 (Doyle and Nazon)

    Top of the comeback table...

First table is great but shot statistics should be banned from football discussions :P

Best equalising rate in the division - gone behind 11 times and equalised on 8 of those occasions (73%). Only Portsmouth have spent less time than us in a losing position - we have trailed for 341 minutes total this season, not even 4 games total.

Barrett looks like your classic Sunday league footballer. Good tekkers and says he loves football but not quite enough to give up twice a week beer and a burger.

Definitely McFadzean at fault there. You don't tell your keeper to come for the ball in that position, you put it into row Z and bollock him for not coming after. Thought Marosi could have done better with the shot though.

What an absolutely odd half of football. Lovely.

Not when you played, controlling it in the first place was the challenge then ;)

Great goal. That all came because our players broke their lines and had clear options to pass to. Kelly, Rose and Walsh all got forward which allowed the attacking midfielders to make the run into the box. Much better. Need to keep being that brave in possession.

Well we've barely had the ball without being fouled so it's not surprising we've lacked fluidity. They've matched us up with formation and Kelly is struggling when pressured so far. Think the game will start to open up now the initial intensity is going out of it - just needs some composure on...

Hope people give Allen time too. He's only had one start and then the odd minutes here and there, he's not going to be match fit yet.

Very pleased with that squad. Must get the wing backs high today and the attacking midfielders running beyond Godden. 3-0 city, Davies red card on 55 when he can't cope with O'Hare dribbling at him.
