Looking forward to just enjoying watching the game. No real pressure and hope we can just have a go. Like Forest, but with better finishing!

New UEFA limitations on Club spending from 23/24

Think it will give the PL relegated teams (assuming parachute payments remain) a stupidly unfair advantage. Unfair competition?!

    I was there when.....

I was there (somebody please tell me they were too) when the away fans were put in that pen in the Spion Kop (nearest the main stand). I'm 90% plus sure it was against Everton and there was a mass snowball fight on the kop. May have been late 70s, possibly early 80s (I have a book somewhere that...

    If Callum O’Hare……..

Some need to be careful having little digs about him. Not that long ago our side was peppered with Callum Reilly, Stuart Beavon, Farrend Rawson, Kyel Reid and the like. Enjoy the good things we have and stop picking at the chinks in everybody's armour.

That's like saying if you ignored the middle/end of the season, Forest are a bottom of the table team. Means nothing if you just cherry pick bits of a season.

Not looked through all this thread, but from the Forest forum: Re: Official Matchday 39 – Nottingham Forest vs Coventry; 6th Apr, 7:45pm

Don't agree - we are higher than all of the newly promoted teams (comfortably)

    Match Thread Forest Match Thread

Agreed, in that if you can play your way through teams - which our side can - you only need the final bit to click and you have a very good team. having a Rotherham type brute force is a) ugly to watch and b)no more successful. Our style if it doesn't work gets accused of being 'soft' and...

Playing really well. Just poor finishing so far. We look to be giving them real problems, which few expected.

Their danger is down the right wing, so wondering if MR thinks Maatsen's defensive side isn't up to dealing with it (which is a point many on here have made before)

Which pub did you get hammered in ?

Agreed - Hopefully his nous can help if and when these two get in behind Maatsen. Bit worried about an early booking in this area leaving him vulnerable to a red during the game, though. Me being a worrier!!

If Spence and Johnson get at Bidwell, then I fear for us. Hopefully, we have a cunning plan! I'm already getting ready to defend the team after a few on here savage them and MR if we get thumped at potentially the two hardest games of the season.

Made me laugh from the Forest forum on their matchday thread.... Originally Posted by Buildabonfire1 My first game at City Ground, what a day watched Tyson get beat off Douglas during the night then got chased through the car wash on Radcliffe Rd ( fuel station) by Coventry fans, got soaked

    I was there when.....

'Stanley, Stanley where's your wife' - He turned to the West End and shrugged his shoulders as if to say 'Dunno' Brilliant fun. Followed by 'Stanley Bowles is a homosexual' followed by 'That's why she left him' etc. Some of the best off the cuff chants I've heard at a match.
