Moore could have done better both times but having seen the first goal that was absolutely criminal defending from Hyam showing him inside for the cross again

I don't think it's just the players. It's the players in the formation we've picked. While it stays 1-0 though there's still time to nick a goal with good use of the subs but it'll be a real smash and grab.

Glad Cook got booked there, didn't think it was anything different to the Fadz booking. Think if we introduced Cook to fire now it might blow his mind and he'll do something stupid.

With the wind and needing a goal I'd be tempted to go 4-3-1-2 in the 2nd half. Kane-Fadz-Hyam-Maatsen ----Allen-Kelly-Sheaf------- -----------O'Hare-------------- --------Gyo---Godden------- We need another body offering a short pass when we win the ball back in deep midfield and a striker...

I always find the box formation ineffective if you don't have the majority of possession. If you can't win the ball your two DMs end up on the toes of the CBs, stretching the formation too much. If we do win the ball back, there's no out ball - Allen and O'Hare are having to cover a huge amount...

Reminds me of a giants vs minnows FA Cup 3rd round tie so far. Bournemouth quite comfortable knocking the ball around patiently waiting for it to click and we're scurrying around, doing twice the running trying to pressure them, but unable to string 3 passes together before we give them the ball...

Steve Cook reminds me of those evolution of men pictures, 2 steps behind the modern man.

Judging by the camera angle, I think the iFollow camera man is playing left midfield for Bournemouth

    Their Red Card

I didn't get how that kind of dissent isn't an instant yellow. If you give a yellow out when that happens it won't take long before people stop doing it.

Surprised at the reactions here, he's just gone studs up at the back of Maatsen's knee.

Bit of an odd sub for me that is. Thought Sheaf's height and composure on the ball would be needed now.

O'Hare doesn't even get me out my seat any more when he has the ball in or around the box. He's absolutely superb for 75% of the pitch but like Luke Thomas used to, I switch off once he's in the box, I actually expect nothing to come from it.

Godden looks a bit deep and central for me, are we playing the box out of possession? Would have though he'd be the one looking to pull their right and left centre backs wide to give Vik some space to roll his man through the middle.

This ref needs to get a grip already, letting them get away with every push and shove in the back every time we play a ball to feet.
