    Stoke

He recognises the players from both sides (in game) and commentates fairly and eloquently. Puts Clive to shame! Well done that lad!

Agree - I'm thinking less than 500 tbh (thought Sheff U had brought a few over 2k - based on my dodgy eyesight only !)

    PROMOTION FORM?

Hoping the positive energy from the crowd, plus the growing confidence can help us midweek. I watched the early game yesterday between Blackpool and PNE. We need to take turns kicking that Patino (on loan from Arsenal) when we play them on Saturday.. He has a lot of class and a very good left...

If he sells it to them that this is a difficult game, that is putting negative thoughts into our players heads, isn't it?

Waghorn needs to be eased back gently. I would only risk him......... ;) ;) ;) ;)

Wow - didn't think Rotherham travelled in those numbers. I'll get there 15 minutes earlier than usual ;)

Would only risk O'Hare for 45 minutes tops. Ease him back gently. Will need him for a tough one against Blackpool - who have defensive issues, but look tasty going forward (CJ Hamilton, Patino and Jerry Yates)

Attendance will be lower than that. Rotherham will bring probably 1.5k - 2k less than Sheff Utd, so unless the last 2 results stir some of the 'casual' locals, I'll be surprised if it tops 16.5k.

    Mcfadzean (chapter 2)

Did a similar hooked clearance against Sheffield United iirc - playing out of his skin.

    That warm fuzzy feeling......

That feelgood factor and atmosphere it created, that lifted everybody at the start of last season........ it's back isn't it ? Might be premature (story of my life) but it feels like the stars are starting to align again. Time to mention Forest's rise last season yet ?!?

Match Thread ⚽️ Stoke City vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Oct

Sitting with a smirk on my face. Knew it might be a good day when this morning my dog ran up to a woman, walking her labrador in the park, and started barking and howling at her. I was about to apologise, when I saw she was wearing a Wasps top. My prejudice then won out!

I'd take 3 points from the next 2 games - this being the obvious harder of the 2. Glad Powell is on the bench. Looks like they've gone for pace up top rather than Delap (more of a battering ram). Come on City !!!!!!!!!!!

    Michael Rose

Agree 100%. With Fadz getting on a bit, and loans likely to disappear, we need to get him to sign another contract asap. Starting next season looking for 3 (or more) Centre backs is likely to lead to a disruptive bedding in of the defence next season, The less we have to mess about with it, the...
