Perhaps we should do what the German's do and all put a beach towel on our 'chosen' seat, before having a beer and hot dog on the concourse. Can't go wrong with that
I agree, but if mates sit together, is it right that they have to displace people who want/need to sit in their seat. Just leads to potential aggravation. Even if you were allowed to buy tickets as a group, there will still be numpties (we have plenty, as I saw in the services on the way back)...
No - it's because some people sat/stood where they wanted - I was over at the end (on your left facing the pitch) and there were a load of empty seats (because of what you have described in your post) People doing 'what they want' at the expense of others!
Just back. Great day. Stopped in the services on the way back, where a few City 'yoof' were acting like dicks, bellowing and hollering. Gustavo Hamer then appeared (with family) and got a rousing rendition of his song, and had a couple of photos taken (good man!)
City were great today...
Saw this mentioned on another thread, but I was watching a replay of a game the other day, and was struck by the chasing back that Hamer does, and the amount of times that he reads players trying to cut back. He regularly gets a foot in to disrupt the opposition attacks. I think a lot of this is...
ST money is guaranteed/known income. The club has to make buying a ST attractive (overall saving) yet the price will have to go up (rising costs etc) If we make the matchday prices really cheap, where is the incentive to buy a ST? It means that on a cold night/wet match day, people will swerve...
Might be me misremembering it. Was definitely at the game. and remember there being lots of Grimsby and a big crowd. The fish - I might have been talking cod swallop! (or pollocks, if you prefer)
Edit - yep - google says it was around the time of the league cup clash in 1989 they were about...
Think it all depends how many are after him. Remember, if a club wants him, but won't pay the asking price, they run the risk of getting gazumped, Confident we'll get at least £10m (which we'll need, as we need 3 new strikers in all probability)
So, if an opposition player is through on goal, can Fadz two foot one or maybe two of their better players with impunity, as the ref says it's an advantage to the opposition to let play carry on?!?!?!
