If Sheaf and Palmer hadn't got injured, and O'Hare about to come back (with Ayari hopefully improving) I wouldn't have been too concerned. We are probably going to have some short term pain, but provided they resolve the issue (it may be next summer when we are without probably Kelly and...

Micky Adams and the Curse of Expectation

I can't believe that you think the crowd doesn't affect players. If I was at work and being booed, shouted at, then I'm not sure I'd perform better. Anfield is a decent example of where the crowd can encourage a team. Playing at places where it's either like a morgue, or the fans are on the...

    We’ll finish top twelve

Who would you entrust it to? Are you suggesting sacking MR, or insisting that (despite injuries) players must perform to a certain level. otherwise DK must sit on any funds until they do? That's ludicrous, either way, G.

But they are better players, which makes us a better team than then. Progress. Most of the players listed have only been here 5 minutes, so far too early to be jumping all over them like that. If we'd all rather be watching Kyel Reid than Jay da Silva, then some need to give their heads a wobble.

Have you been on The Oatcake forum? Rose and McNally both being called out as utter garbage for several games now.

You'd think that where we are, positionally and injury wise, come the transfer window will dictate our activity. Assuming we are in no position to challenge, nor likely to get relegated, then i would think we would be looking at loans from the PL to bolster injury cover. You'd hope strategically...

Not an expert in music so apologies if my terminology is wrong, but half the time, the crowd start up the song in the wrong key, so sounds flat as a pancake. then quickly ends as people realise it sounds wrong/sh*t.

Yeah - I liked that other team that used to play for us, The one that won some games - although when they didn't win, they were shit. A good team wins games, and that's the team i want. I don't want to see a team when it doesn't win. Simms played well last night, but was shit in another game...

I thought Kelly played well - the team will click, but it may take until post Christmas, given all the injuries and waiting for players to return/ time for the team to settle. Thought the effort was there last night and it was more the manner the way the game ended that really deflated the crowd.

They've invested quite a bit over a few seasons. Twine and Delap coming off the bench today.

First post - he won't tell you who it is Second post - you seem to know who it is? I'm confused, but whoever it is, I hope that it is something fairly minor. Palme is the obvious one for 'history'., and half the forum wanted him dropped anyway. Speedy recovery, whoever it is.

From the Stoke forum a minute ago Rose is easily the worst CB that has put the stoke shirt on for 10 years or more

If they lose a few more games between now and the January transfer window (which is looking likely), it'll be a tad late, plus they won't be seen as such an attractive destination.

Norwich forward Ashley Barnes has suffered a knee ligament injury, and Josh Sargent picked up that bad injury at Sunderland. Norwich made a massive mistake not recruiting better forwards to cover for these injuries, What has happened to clubs not being able to predict where these will occur...
