Tend to agree - I think you get a better view of the game from the side, whereas from behind the goal (unless you are high(ish) up, you lose some perspective of the game.

It did kick off; the Wheatsheaf mob (and i drink in there regularly on match days) hurled things at our coach (heading back to Warwick). Luckily the coach driver didn't let our 2 top boys off the coach, otherwise several hundred Wheatsheafers were in trouble 🤣

Back in the Highfield Road days, I remember a large mob of Leeds fans being escorted from the Gosford Green area around the back of the Spion Kop and all chanting - to the 'tune' of We are Leeds, (repeat) but with the words 'Get your coat, Get your coat, Get your coat' Thought at the time 'wtf...

I think Simms' position may well have affected the lino's decision too. If he had not been clearly offside, that may helped sway the lino's decision in our favour.

Lost 2-1 at Ipswich, and didn't Godden miss a pen in that game? Or are you referring to the season as a whole? For me West Brom looked to have a very solid side when we played them - unspectacular, well organised and with a particularly strong defence.

Last away game of the season, and even if we're out of it, we should use the occasion as a 'farewell to Fadz' day - we never got the chance to say goodbye. You'd also hope, that in those circumstances, the club would give permission for Fadz to play (obviously no chance, if we needed to win)...

If we could beat Leeds, Ipswich still have to play Norwich, so it's not all over - I'm happy with how the season has been, regardless - but would be fun to take it to the wire like last season - if only because it's more fun than watching 'dead rubbers'.

I'm due to be stopping at a Leicester (ST holder) supporting mate's house in Teignmouth, the weekend of the play-off final/FA Cup final. I'm going to implode if somehow we end up meeting them in the Play Off final (unlikely, as we'd more likely meet them in the 3rd v 6th play off semi)...

Scored a couple of decent headers from corners as well. Sign Sorba Thomas next season and I reckon we'll score a lot more from set pieces (assuming we're still in this division). His set pieces would be a bloody useful weapon in the PL too imo.
