Don't think we will get away with a change of manager this time....

I wouldnt bet against Gunnar & Turner scoring either. I really dont see us picking any points up in November. By December we could be alone at the bottom of the table in 24th

I am beginning to go off Andy Thorn a bit of late

When was the last game that we did better than played well for 45 minutes? Norwich at end of last season perhaps ? We have got to play consistently well for all the game, to be solid strong and composed the whole game. We are not and show no signs of curing this inconsistency. We can blame the...

Don't think we will get away with a change of manager this time....

I think AT did better in this match than say Burnley but it still seemed like muddled thinking. By his own admission he changed the formation two or three times in the first half alone. Now whilst applauding his reaction to the situation perhaps a more tactically aware manager may have only made...

    jordan willis

Thought for a young lad first game against a confident good team he did ok, certainly doesnt deserve to be blamed in any way for the result. Fourth goal i put down to the keeper. He made mistakes but it further proves we have good potential in the academy - Well done Gregor Rioch & co. (no not...

SISU to blame for 2nd half back 4 line up.....

has nothing to do with injuries to McPake, Crainie, Wood, Hussey, Clarke then ?

    indian Ivestment!?!

Turns up at "a supporters house" ? what rubbish .......... whats wrong with turning up at the reception at the Ricoh ? As London based how about just visiting SISU's offices ? Why print this rubbish .......... hardly likely to encourage SISU to do business with him either. Joe Dhinsa...

Eastwood should now pull his finger out

he has had over 3 years to get his finger out and help ............ why would he start now while he can sit back collect his pay and claim it wasnt his fault

    conner thomas!

I think he will be a very good player...... but probably not with us. Young players will have swings in form much more than senior players but Thomas has impressed me.

What are WE going to do about it?

On the basis that the majority of city fans going up to the Ricoh are season ticket holders how does those season ticket holders not going actually affect income considering the club have already received the money for this season ?

Do we expect Deegan to be offered a new contract

Using AT's logic ..... as he injured himself playing for CCFC he deserves a new contract

    Record Under Thorn

fair point but what worries me is AT's failure to motivate the more senior players - Bell, McSheffery, Baker, Eastwood and to some extent Clingan. Bottom line is that in years to come many people looking at the stats wont think ah but he didnt have the players/finance, they will compare him to...

7 goals conceded in the last 2 games

Surely we defend as a team? That is where it falls down we are not a good team at this level and dont play as team either. There are a few players playing for themselves resulting in poor decision making It is unfair to place the blame on the back four and keeper. Recently our more...

    My thoughts on yesterday

agree with much of what you say. Having raised doubts about AT before I thought he did ok yesterday not great but better. However I dont think keeping McSheffery on helped - all it did was increase pressure on the right footed leftback Christie giving him two players to mark instead of one!

Unless we buy a player in (eg Cody) no value is included on the balance sheet for contract extensions (Bell McPake etc) nor does offering youngsters a contract add anything to the balance sheet. The liabilities to pay the contracts until termination are there but not included on the balance...

    Thorn has to go

First off we cant afford someone other than Thorne because SISU wont pay the bigger wages I accept that he had an input into us staying up. But still think his biggest contribution to that was to simply say go play. He was the complete opposite to Boothroyd and for 10 games the players...

    So the hoff

I know people are getting their hopes up DSB but where should a life long City fan be on a match day? Given his background/profession it is quite likely he was with money men For me It comes down to actions not words and PR.

    Saints fan here

why is it so many of our ex players improve only once they have left us though ? How many of these ex players are wriiten off as rubbish whilst in Sky Blue by so many ? Could it be our coaching and utilisation of senior players isnt what it should be. Clearly we do pretty well at academy level

Coaching or lack of it was shown to be weak today...

What we dont do is defend or attack as a team. I am not surprised our defence makes mistakes they have precious little infront of them as cover. First half our midfield was non existent with exception of Thomas who did the simple things well and looked interested. The keeper and back four did...

Unless they can come up with a deal that tempts SISU to sell he can be in the casino with Warren Buffet for all i care it makes no difference

    Clive platt

thought he came over well. Also think he is right. There are some players playing for themselves eg McSheffery (another poor game ) why does he insist on shooting from stupid positions He also said that the senior players were no helping the young lads. There is little evidence of senior leaders...
