    Bright and Robins

I trust MR to deal with Bright and sort the situation one way or the other, if it works out well then that's great, if not, so be it, at least he gave it a try. Ultimately the only real loser can be Bright and his career.

The unexpected ambition in my opinion was not selling Hamer, O'hare or Dabo! (Crosses fingers till midnight tuesday)

Agreed, I think this would of been the ideal game to bring a fit Kelly on at the expense of Waghorn. Kelly would of sat in front of the back 3 and picked up the balls that were dropping there (like the first goal) unfortunately Kelly wasnt available, (obviously) We should of shut up shop...

    Robins on Gyokeres

Why dont we just send our talent scouts to watch the local basketball league? Plenty of young tall fuckers there! But seriously, do you honestly think we havnt had Solihull and all the other local non league teams watched? Do you think we arnt aware of him? I'm sure he will get picked up...

🤣 if he was a foot taller he'd of got a game for them!

    Robins on Gyokeres

Do you honestly think we would be talking about a Solihull reserve player if he wasnt 6'9" ? When have we ever discussed a Solihull reserve before?

    Robins on Gyokeres

So being tall is now more important than having any footballing ability??? If he was half decent he'd be playing for Solihull, not sat on their bench!!! Surely we should look at the guy who's keeping him sat on the bench first!!! Honestly, you just couldnt make this shit up!

A bit harsh there mate, I wouldn't mind betting that given a season partnering Gyokeres, he'd score more than Waghorn or Biamou averaged over their careers! (I know that's not saying much)

He's little more than cover for O'hare now, as we dont play wingers any more. He needs to reinvent himself as a striker, or look for a move to get game time, which is a shame as I think he has plenty of talent to succeed at this level, but I cant see him getting a start.

Better to come here and sit on the bench than stay at QPR and sit in the stand!

Absolutely, there's no fucking way Waghorn should ever partner Gyoketes!!!! They are in each others way too often. I'm not sure Godden or Walker are the answer either. We need a pacy striker who can finish!

He's struggling to find an "out ball" Gyokeres is being tightly marked and Waghorn has zero pace and cant work the Chanel efficiently enough. Ohare has all the talent, but cant finish, Walker and Godden are very good strikers in their own way, but I cant see either being the ideal...

Agreed, I really think Gyokeres is going to be an absolute beast for us, no one mention a Max anymore!
  18. fatso

    Where are we at

We are a decent outfit, but we have 2 defenders still bedding in, we lack a little pace at the back at times and we need to find a striker who can finish along side Gyokeres, and we need to stop giving possession away too cheaply, that's all thats stopping us from being a top six side...

    Robins on Gyokeres

A totally fucked Gyokeres, is still better than Walker! We were finished as an attacking force once Gyo went off, we need to find a suitable partner for him, because it certainly aint Waghorn.

We desperately need to spend the international break practicing our finishing, We must have a piss poor return compared to the number of chances we’ve created. And it’s about time one of our defenders got on the end of a set piece. Waghorn did ok today, but he just doesn’t look like a goal...
