City board ready to meet hoffman

I think there is some confusion as to exactly who or what SISU actually is. SISU is a fund management company that manages investors money. This money is put into various funds which they manage. These funds buy and sell shares in companies, take dividends and overall try to grow and show the...

A message to SISSU RAGE AND BONE LTD.

100% right Dinyall - these people don't care about what supporters think about them - they are bankers based in London who probably don't even know where Coventry is. They won't even refer to us as CCFC but as SBS&L Ltd, one of many companies their various investment funds have shares in. All...

Well, it looks like we are trying to sign...

It is possible that SISU may buy Le Fondre - if they can get him for a cut price. Buy him for £750k - give him a book value of £1.5m and suddenly the company's assets have increased and therefore so has the value of the company. Its all smoke and mirrors and accounting - football is very secondary.

City board ready to meet hoffman

SISU got the club for nothing, got Robinson etc to right off their loans in exchange for a promised £6m on promotion. They lent the club £20 to pay off bank, HMRC etc. They, along w RR, had a plan to make money by turning the club around, buying and selling players for a profit, getting control...

No Bid or approach for Juke

"Saturday is a big day for the City" - true, its the start of City's promotion push having invested in the team, brought together some top players and its going to be an exciting and ultimately successful season for City so NoClout was right, just a shame he was talking about Leicester City and...

    Team For Saturday

Cannot see Juke playing unfortunately - think his deadleg might just keep him out until he has completed his medical elsewhere. Great - hoping for Platt and Baker to be fit - sad times we live in. Thanks SISU, whatever your secret plan is, it isn't working on the pitch and as even after all the...

    Team For Saturday

Assuming that Turner, Bell, Platt, Juke, Deegan, Eastwood, Clarke are all injured or withdrawn pending transfer then what team are we likely to field? For me its going to be: Murphy Christie Keough Cranie...

    saturday!

i admire your spirit but, honestly, I have never felt more underwhelmed about a new season. We have the poorest, sparsest and most inexperienced squad I can ever remember and a board that tells us its well balanced. I really fear that we are in for a pasting on Sat from a team that has invested...

    So come on...

Ooops - yes Donny - Darlo will be in a couple of seasons when we're in the BSP.

    Bid for Juke

    SISU are a bowel motion

    So come on...

Every year I look forward to the start of the season but this time I cannot see any glimmers of hope or crumbs of comfort to cling onto. I think the only teams that rank down with us are Watford, Darlington and Barnsley and possibly Peterborough so, unless something drastic happens, its...

    Bid for Juke

I am sure its us who have leaked this story, as it wouldn't be in Burnley's interest to do so, to alert others that we are more than willing to sell. A swap would be better but sure SISU just want cash to keep us going for a few more weeks.

    Bid for Juke

No point in a swap as Burnley have no strikers - cannot see them letting Austin, Rodriquez or Patterson go. Teams in this division need 4 strikers (well all teams except us apparently)

    Bid for Juke

Interesting that in the Skysports piece they claim we only paid £300k for Juke yet we have all been lead to believe that we paid around £1m - more misdirection/miscommunication from our illustrious leaders?

    Bid for Juke

Burnely have some money following sales of Eagles and Mears for - coincidentally £3m and now Tracey is off to PNE as well so a: we know they have some cash and b: need a striker as they only have Charlie Austin, Martin Patterson and Rodriguez so we can hold out for a few more quid. Expect a bit...

    owning half the stadium

To buy 50% of ACL would cost around £10m - a reasonable amount, to buy the stadium would cost, conservatively, £100m - as the council has to sell at a fair market rate and that is an amount that I cannot see anyone forking out. First step is to buy ACL or at least half and at least then we have...
