    Crainie

Undoubtedly more players on the market and lower salaries available. Will hit a lot of clubs hard, many will struggle to get any where near the targets proposed

What would help the club in the short term....in or out of the cup?

way too much ......... but one game at a time lol

What would help the club in the short term....in or out of the cup?

we already have the losing habit and fragile confidence......... more important at this moment to break that......... If the team is to survive in the Championship then they need to break mentality of failure......... therefore a good performance and a win are important in the cup.

    The next generation of supporters.

few years back when my lad (then 10) said he was going to support another team..... I calmly looked him in the eyes and asked when he was leaving and to send me the forwarding address :o tough love i think they call it. Luckily despite what he has seen over the seasons he hasnt been traumatised...

At Wants Freddy to get fit!

can't move him on if he isnt fit ............. saving his wages would allow loans to come in ......... if it gives AT options all well and good. But I wouldnt hold my breath on FE being the goal scorer we need or him having the right attitude........ real waste of talent

Saturday demo is a protest NOT a boycott

Thought Claus Jorgansen was fair in his assessment this morning on CWR. Said how else could fans show their feelings and so long as peaceful had no problem with it. Lack of supporters at kick off could work for or against and players had to get on with it

    James McPake...

McPakes situation is nothing like Eastwoods. I think that it should have been kept in house and nothing said however. But we dont know how the CT came by the story, probably AT was asked to respond to info they had and in stating a general principle (which I agree with ie if they want to go then...

    New Bid

Believe it when I see it - will wait and see what tomorrow brings

    Another thin hope to vanish..

Think we need to wait and see. Wouldnt wish a points deduction on another team but Pompey still has issues - the article implies they are struggling to find the money to pay wages - the takeover is not done as yet - the league have not decided whether (a) the new proposed owners are fit &...

    James McPake...

Sounds to me like a player who had a sit down with the manager and told him his issues (not playing and family would like to go back to Scotland). That sort of conversation if it was should have stayed between the two of them. You would have to take McPakes word for it that no transfer...

    Saturday's Boycott/Protest

Only if I was given real power and backing to sort it out SBD - never going to happen though is it. To be honest I dont think I could deal with the frustration of dealing with SISU & the current board, the secrecy and politics would drive me nuts, and no doubt there would be those here etc that...

    Saturday's Boycott/Protest

how typical of Coventry fans ! Each to their own opinion, support the boycott or do not it is for each to make their own choice - i have no problem with that. However do not berate those that try to take some action nor lecture them on what should be done when not getting involved...

    Jutkiewicz injury

He was definitely limping second half of Brighton game. I think he had to play yesterday and further aggravated injuries (maybe added a new one), i would guess he was playing with pain killing injections. Just shows the limits of our squad - doubt he will play against Southampton.

    Where's the deal?

Got to be honest LBB i fail to see the attraction in financial terms of investing in most clubs let alone ours. We have next to no assets so that makes the attraction even less - which doesnt help GH or anyone else broker a deal. Any deal will not happen quickly and certainly there is no...

do you all really think its just SISU to blame

Ok some facts The Ricoh is owned on a long lease by ACL (a company owned jointly by the council & Higgs Charity) The council own the freehold - it could be sold but would cost market value. There is an option, owned by CCFC Ltd, to purchase the Higgs Charity shares in ACL at £10m with a time...

    Takeover News!!!!!!!

I would guess a couple of weeks GSS. It could be done quicker but given past history if I were the investigating accountants I would want to be sure and not be rushed. When SISU came in remember they & RR claimed there were more debts than thought and that impacted on their player investment

    Takeover News!!!!!!!

my own assessment of this is that whilst GH remains the only "realistic" alternative there is still a long way to go. I think the current fervour is driven more by the fans desperation for change and chinese whispers rather than any real details. I don't think it will be done by 7th January...

    Brighton match

decent performance with a bit of grit and steel which has been missing this season. Some good composure and generally good passing. Never been a fan of McSheffery but that was the best I have seen from him in ages and gets my MOM. Hope we keep hold Keogh - the most consistent and best...
