Sheaf back (and a new midfielder), and we'll look a different team.

This game will not be representative of our season.

9 changes from Saturday - bit surprising if we were fluid. First thing I want this evening is effort. Bristol have a decent line up. If we're yo win this, I think it'll be down to our forwards. Like to get a bit more from Tavares (my 'stream' is moving at about 5% real time, so given up, and...

    Victor Torp

I think there is more an expectation that we will be competing for the top 6. I think it's a bit of a stretch to say an expectation that we will be comfortably in there.

    Viktor Moving on

I'm not too fussed, providing he has another good season (he will) and doesn't pick up a bad injury (fingers crossed) Have a look at 2 of the goals he set up against Porto (particularly the first) if you want a reminder as to how good he is.

    U21'S Team

To be fair, only Burroughs likely to have perhaps appeared. I think MR will rotate, whilst using a lot of first team subs.

    Preston

Agree with the first part, but it's not hard to see us beating Oxford, but losing the 2 games against Bristol (who I think will be up there this season). Provided we then beat Norwich, get Sheaf back, and strengthen, I will be content.

    Preston

Not sure I'd agree with that, in that DK has seen how MR has helped turn this club around, and would be surprised if he didn't see that he may be cutting off his nose to spite his face by wielding the axe. The backlash from fans would be significant imo. If we looked like we were going backwards...

Burnley at least showed a way to negate Lutons press,; albeit they had some decent players to pull it off.

It's the energy of the Burnley players that has impressed me. Can't see them not winning the league based on one game!! 2nd place still up for grabs, after Hamer leaves :ROFLMAO:

One new signing, Coventry 5 Oxford 0 and we'll be top 6 certainties. One week later, a narrow defeat at Ashton gate - 17th. Such are we football fans.

Burnley look very slick. Luton look the same as before. Conor Roberts has a porn star moustache. Burnley's no 20 looks a trickster - good player.

    Robins Comments

Sorry to mention him, but the thing that C O'H does that causes problems for defenders , is carrying the ball into the box. Rudoni looks like he can do that, but was playing deeper than C O'H did, so didn't actually do that (from memory) This may be because, without Sheaf, he couldn't get...

Had just been on the OTIB forum. Knowledgeable, and not full of angry folk trying to score internet points. Actually talk about the forthcoming game, plus observations on the opposition, together with historic games between the clubs.

Wouldn't want to be a Plymouth player. Have to go over to applaud their fans, then 8,000 mile trip home on the coach after that ( as have the fans)

    Plymouth have been beyond awful

3-0 fairer reflection, although Plymouth don't really deserve 0. Have to feel sorry for their fans. If you're playing Sheff Wed, you have to put a reducer in on Bannan. Half the team without him.
