Sky Blues Narrowly Miss Out on Ebanks-Blake

With the Wolves striker getting injured and out for a month I fully expect this bullshit headline appearing in CET from honest Ken and Barbie Clouting. "Honest we were about to sign him but the injury has put paid to it - we are totally gutted as we had worked very hard to line up this deal but...

How do you get to the ricoh from the train station?????

If a silver bearded oily looking very suntanned gentleman in a Jaguar XJL offers you a lift under no circumstances accept - even if he offers to show you HIS players, to take you to a meeting with the council and a bag of SISUeeties - just say no, he is not to be trusted

City closing in on ALF ..... apparently

I think some of our younger viewers may be confused - just to confirm its not Bellamy, he's far uglier but does also eat cats

City closing in on ALF ..... apparently

No that is Richard Wood without his make up on

    Gael Bigirimana

I don't think anyone is going over the top over the kid but in the see of crap and mediocrity that is our midfield he has shone as a little beacon of hope, especially alongside Baker and Bell . He has all the ingredients to make a decent player but no one is expecting him to be dominating games...

City closing in on ALF ..... apparently

We have sent them a video of ROD's brilliant performance against Watford to tempt them into a straight swap deal

    Telegraph re Hoffman

Again confidentiality agreement is standard business practice and even more important after Dulieus totally unprofessional, arrogant and insulting naming of one of the investors who attended the meeting last week - the man is a clown of the highest order. Confidentiality to protect the identity...

    Martyn Waghorn

Whilst I agree that Waghorn is a more than decent prospect with things as they are we have more chance of signing Foghorn Leghorn than Waghorn - we are signing nobody and selling anyone we can. Thats the reality of life under SISU.

    Sisu have some brass neck

SkyBlue Scottie - Sisu are not cowboys - that's part of the galling thing - they are a professional investment company that makes its money by taking ailing businesses and turning it around. When they took over this club we were £25 million in debt to the inland revenue, the VAT man, the...

    350k for Le Fondre

Nice to see us being a joke is now national news and not just restricted to Sheffield - thanks for that Dulieu

    Sisu have some brass neck

Much as I cannot stand SISU they have not created the mess we are in - haven't helped get us out of it but the men responsible for the mess are Robinson, Richardson and McGinnity and they should never ever be forgiven

    The stadium

Cost of stadium etc is entirely irrelevant I am afraid. By law the council have to sell any property for a fair market value and on the Ricoh Arena website they refer to the stadium as a £113m venue so £100m + won't be too far off

    what Hoffman didnt say

howzer - what Hoffman is on about is quickly purchasing the 50% of ACL from the Higgs Trust, and later the other 50% from the council but that is a separate negotiation. The actual purchase of the stadium is a completely different issue, the Higgs 50% of ACL would cost around £10m whilst to buy...

Rotherham Chairman - Coventry Bid Was A Joke

Cannot take credit for this spot OSB - credit to Tisza on GMK. Just passing it on to a wider audience.

    Sisu have some brass neck

Don't have a problem with this - standard business practice and Hoffman has already stated that this information would be made available. This is not going to be a 20 minute negotiation because not only do the City/SBS&L board have to decide its a good deal, then SISU have to sell the deal to...

Rotherham Chairman - Coventry Bid Was A Joke

Tony Stewart - the Rotherham Chairman rejected Sheff Weds latest offer for Le Fondre but also added "Coventry came in with a joke bid a fortnight or so ago but I am sure they weren’t serious. “I got the impression it was more a case of them wanting to show their supporters that they were...

Time to focus on supporting the team??

I agree with Rob on this one. Whilst I am sure that Dulieu cannot keep any details of the offer from SISU, especially with Onye on the board it is vital that the message gets through not only to Sepalla etc at SISU that they are not welcome but to their investors that SISU have done an appalling...

Do you WANT the Hoffman bid to succeed?

Whilst I fully expect SISU to reject Hoffman's bid and continue to slowly strangle the life out of the club we all love and taking into account the fact that we don't really know what Hoffman is offering us as a club going forward I want his bid to succeed. The prospect of Ken and his crew...

Do You Expect The Bid To Succeed?

After all the ups and downs and have they haven't they of today surrounding Hoffman's bid do you really think he will succeed in taking the club over? I know we have no idea of what he is offering or what SISU would find acceptable but anecdotally the two sides appear miles apart and Dulieu's...
