Yes - they have this mad system which increases the price of a ST every 2 weeks (?) or so, that increases the pressure to buy one early, or you pay a ridiculous price nearer the start of the season. Won't be long before he's starting to charge over a season in advance!

I was impressed with Derby's application last night. They seem to be more than the sum of their parts. Vert good work ethic; didn't let Luton bully them. Definitely deserved at least a point.

Predicted 40mph winds at 12 dropping to 20mph by 1pm. Let's hope it doesn't spoil it. Il pleut aussi.

Ticket prices v Plymouth boxing day

Agreed re: kids - but most of us aren't affected due to having STs. I'd be interested to have a look at the club's cash flow/balance sheet at the moment. I suppose with limited revenue streams, it's inevitable the club are likely to have high matchday prices, It doesn't help that Doug looks like...

    Grow Up

Next home game is ......... Wayne Rooney's Plymouth - can't think of any posters that might be made about him 🤔

Sorry to hear about your knee mate. See you at Norwich, if not before. Watched them against Burnley earlier - they played some decent football. Hopefully they sell Sainz in the window!

Question for the troops. Is it definitely Samba rhythm? I have seen elsewhere Marimba rhythm - which doesn't scan as well, but wanted to clarify.

Having watched Derby last night change 5 players from their earlier midweek game, to great effect, having 3 'fresh' players may be no bad thing at all. We do need to freshen things up when there are a lot of games over a short period,; otherwise you risk 'tired' performances.

    Our 'Deck'

I think Sakamoto is showing signs of his old self. Wish we would get the ball in the box more frequently from out wide, rather than the constant recycling. Gives opponents less time to regroup, plus our forwards will get in the box more if they know a cross is likely.

    Players Don't Care

To be fair, he was never going to reach that 'pass' from Rudoni (which messed up a decent move)

MVE is being flogged to death. We do not have cover for him. He is quality. Played the lovely cross in that should have resulted in the equaliser.

The Grant goal - Lati got sucked into an area he didn't need to, and had shifted his weight, leaving him totally at sea (more his fault than Thomas imo). Regardless, I'm hoping Saka was just taken off to save him for Saturday. Sheaf had a very average game - thought he and Eccles were fairly...

Pretty much where I am, except I'd snatch your hand off for a draw. If we keep their wingers quiet, we have a chance. If we don't - then I can't see us getting anything. Need a few big individual performances tonight - a red card for them wouldn't go amiss, either.

I think the reference to 'thickos' amongst their fanbase, expecting a performance when key players were out, may have upset a few.

Fingers crossed we don't. If we stand off them and drop deep, we'll get nothing. Their defence looked vulnerable yesterday. Need to attack them. That said I'd happily take 3 points from the next 2 games. As an aside, yesterday must have taken a lot out of them - gruelling conditions. Bassette...

Yes, agree - they played really well against Sheff Utd yesterday, and their 2 wingers, Johnstone and Fellows cause a lot of problems out wide. Best form of defence against them is likely to be attack (in my 'football expert; opinion!)
