The good vibes were about Sisu leaving… and rightly so. But King hasn’t been here long enough to warrant his own song for example. Honeymoon period is over. This is his proper test as chairman with a pre-season going into the full season. Let’s see what he is really made of.

He probably thinks he can do what he wants as he’s a successful business man/hedge funder (in his eyes). But doesn’t excuse belittling anyone, especially your own staff. You get a lot of people like this who are just arrogant once they get to the top. I guess that’s what gets them there.

Remember Doug likes to do things fast and not hang around. Such as the ramp up in ticket prices and boxes etc. So it’s no surprise he’s stirring it up at every part of the club.

I’ve heard there might be some changes in the people running the day to day operations. Another issue is King is micromanaging stuff behind the scenes and a lot don’t like it. I think it’s become apparent that he’s putting the club in a place where he will shift it.

Which is all fair enough. At the moment (what we can see anyway) Sporting are the only club pushing for Vik.
